Blood sprayed violently. A crimson line opened across the Purple Man's throat, and he collapsed instantly. His terrified eyes remained frozen in his final moment, as if he refused to believe his end had come so abruptly.
Lin Feng's silhouette gradually dissolved into the darkness, vanishing into the night and leaving behind only a suffocating silence.
"Shadow Ninjas, see if you can devour him," Lin Feng said calmly.

A Shadow Ninja stepped forward, crouched down, and began to consume the Purple Man's blood. Unfortunately, it failed to trigger the upgrade mechanism once again. Evidently, the Purple Man did not meet the requirements.

The Shadow Eaters swarmed forward, opening their grotesque, fanged maws. In an instant, they tore the Purple Man apart and devoured him completely!
Under Lin Feng's watchful eye, the Shadow Eaters began to grow in size, expanding until they looked like small mountains. The shadows of powerful living beings were clearly more effective for the Shadow Eaters.
Lin Feng could hardly imagine what would happen if they eventually devoured beings like Thanos.
With a wave of his hand, he dismissed the Shadow Eaters. His body merged into the shadows and disappeared.
