"It leads toward territory the Collective has been moving through," Roshan said carefully. "Scar'oth's people."
"So Korin is going to make a deal with them," Faelyn said.
It wasn't a question. She'd already heard it straight from both their heads but she wasn't about to say that.
Mira moved in front of her, firm and unhurried.
"You don't need to be part of this conversation right now," she said, steering Faelyn back toward the furs. "Sit down."
"I'm fine—"
"You are not fine." No argument in Mira's voice, just plain fact. "Whatever Korin is planning will still be happening in ten minutes. Sit."
Faelyn sat.
Mostly because her legs had already been making threats for the last five minutes and she was tired of ignoring them.
Roshan and Nyx moved to the far side of the room, heads together, voices low, sorting it out between them.
Roshan's mind: ฅᨐฅ'Talon. We need Talon on this, he knows that eastern corridor better than anyone.'ฅᨐฅ
