Although they spotted the unknown woman behind the undead on the other side of the battlefield, they were unable to attack or do anything except protect themselves and flee to a safer location where they could fight back without being bombarded by attacks.
[A wedding… how exquisitely timed.
All the world distracted…
A whisper here… a spark… a scene…
Perhaps some thieves to grace the stage.]
[Chaos… is such a generous host.
And I do enjoy making an entrance]
Nasira stepped forward boldly, unharmed amid the chaos. Her voice was raw with emotion as she brought more inanimate objects to life with a wave of her staff.
However, this time, the magical energy extended towards the forces of Ababwa and Agrabah. The soldiers instantly lost focus and raised their weapons to attack their companions.
They were charmed, acting like mindless human zombies. Only the forces from the Empire of Ababwa, most especially the Imperial magicians, managed to resist the charm.
Due to their previous battles against the Witches of the Sand, which still felt like a month ago to them, they were prepared against magical attacks like charms.
However, Nasira's charm was incredibly powerful, draining their magical reserves and wearing down the minds of the soldiers. Soon, it became clear that the longer they remained in the area, the greater the chances of them succumbing to it.
"HEY, SNAP OUT OF IT!!"
"IT'S ME!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, BROTHER?"
"EVERYONE FALL BACK!! THEY'VE BEEN CHARMED!!"
CLANGG!! CLANG!!
The soldiers turned against their charmed comrades while still trying to secure their escape. But the spell ultimately overpowered them, turning them into mindless human zombies that attacked their own comrades.
Facing the relentless waves of attacks from the undead, the animated objects, and their own allies, the soldiers could only retreat rapidly.
However, it wasn't only they who were faced with such horrors.
Across the Kingdom, soldiers had gone from fighting innumerable undead to battling inanimate objects and their own comrades, now forced to face all three at once. Left with no other option but to survive, they began retreating.
Due to the immense magic circle Nasira had constructed across the Kingdom of Agrabah, her actions rippled throughout the land like waves spreading across water. The overwhelming dark magical energy generated by the circle amplified everything, causing chaos to erupt across the Kingdom.
Bodies fell on the battlefield and transformed into undead soldiers, adding to their already countless numbers.
To both soldiers and civilians alike, it was as though hell itself was claiming the earth.
And so, chaos reigned.
Observing the scene from afar, and through her familiar's vision, Nasira smiled. Suddenly, she paused and narrowed her gaze skyward in a certain direction.
"The groom has finally arrived. As the host, it would be improper if I didn't make my presence known as well," Nasira said.
She gently tapped the ground with her staff.
Instantly, the earth beneath her broke away from the surrounding earth and levitated into the air with unnatural grace and control.
The staff in Nasira's hand trembled before disappearing into nothingness.
Nasira rested her hands at her sides until she finally spotted Aladdin's figure in the distance. She halted mid-air, waiting for him to notice her.
Fortunately, Aladdin was also searching for her, and the moment he spotted a familiar figure standing on a floating rock, exuding immense magical energy like a tidal wave, he quickly teleported before her.
Aladdin examined the woman before him. She looked gaunt, and if it weren't for the scowl permanently etched on her face and the faint resemblance to Jafar, she would have been an extremely beautiful woman.
Unlike Genie, whose magical energy he couldn't see through, hers was like an enormous waterfall, with mist rising above and below, clouding his vision.
Without a doubt, he was certain that she was the one.
The infamous Sorceress Nasira!
"Are you Sorceress Nasira?" Aladdin asked, looking at her suspiciously.
This was his first time meeting her, so he couldn't act as though he knew her.
"Oohh… It seems that you've already heard of me. Or did those thieves give out that information without my authorisation?… Well, no need for an introduction then," Nasira replied.
"Yes. I am the great sorceress Nasira, unparalleled in the dark arts… Sister to the great Jafar. And you're Prince Aladdin Abooboo, I presume?"
"The one who killed him?"
Aladdin's frown deepened. He neither answered nor replied. His gaze simply shifted to the soldiers below who were fleeing for their lives. He had encountered many situations like this along the way and had intervened.
However, he soon realised that it was useless until he dealt with the one who had cast the spell. Still, he couldn't bear to watch such a sight before him.
The only reason he managed to remain composed was due to his experiences as a common thief on the streets of Agrabah.
Suddenly, a peal of laughter burst from Nasira's lips. "So it's you then… Good. I don't need to tear this kingdom apart to find you."
"But coming here alone… How brave of you!" she added. "So, how do you want to do this? Surrender and lead me to where you've kept my brother's soul hidden, while I decide what to do with you, your bride, the rest of the royal family, and this city?"
"Or you could do so begging…"
"Jafar's sister. No wonder I could see the resemblance from a mile away," Aladdin responded, drawing his magical sword, Black Legacy, strapped to his waist.
"I don't plan on surrendering. Since you've come here with the intent of harming my people and putting the people of Agrabah in danger, I'll make sure your cruelty ends here."
Suddenly, Aladdin vanished from his position.
He teleported to the battlefield below.
The moment he appeared in the midst of the battlefield, he unleashed his magical energy, enveloping the area with Emperor's Hand, which he had upgraded from the spell 'King's Hand', capable of telepathically controlling anything he desired as long as he possessed the magical energy to do so, to knock the soldiers unconscious and send them flying safely behind him.
Meanwhile, the undead and inanimate objects were knocked backwards.
A massive wall of earth rose from the ground, creating an artificial barrier between the soldiers and the undead.
Seeing that their prince had come to their rescue, the forces of Ababwa and Agrabah sighed in relief and let out resounding battle cries. They gathered their unconscious companions from the ground and continued to flee to safety.
Aladdin teleported back to the sky to face Nasira.
The moment he appeared, a beam of dark energy shot straight at him.
Aladdin swiftly dodged by teleporting to another location. Another beam followed immediately, and he dodged it just as easily.
Aladdin repositioned himself in a safer area.
The beams of dark energy seized.
