Unfortunately, she hadn't shared his vision. She believed Genies were mythical legends, wiped away like other mystical beings.
What were the chances any Genies had survived, let alone fallen into their hands? Their master couldn't find a genie lamp. What chance did they have?
She had been wrong!
Her brother had indeed found a Genie, but it had been stolen by someone else, and who else could it be than Prince Aladdin Ababwa?!
It made sense why her brother had been so easily captured, and why she couldn't recover his soul. Although she had no idea what kind of wishes Prince Aladdin had made, as long as that Genie was free, all she needed to do was trap it once more and have it restore Jafar's soul and bring him back to life.
Then hand it over to her brother as a gift.
As for Aladdin and the others, she would crush them and make them regret ever touching a member of her family.
Then, she would have her brother decide what to do with them.
Suddenly, dark clouds began to gather over the Kingdom of Agrabah.
Nasira stretched her hand out skyward, releasing the crow into the air.
A twisted wooden staff with a knob on top appeared in her right hand. She slammed its base against the alley ground.
Instantly, a tidal wave of magical energy flowed out from the staff and spread across the alley. Surprisingly, the magical outpour didn't stop there; it penetrated deep into the ground and spread across the city from zone to zone.
Countless magical circles began to appear across the city, from alleys to various bazaars, shining with an intense glow and emanating immense magical energy.
The people residing in the Kingdom of Agrabah began to take notice of the strange phenomenon, but by then it was too late.
The heavy storm clouds hovering above the Kingdom grew darker.
Lightning and thunder flashed across the skies, signalling a heavy storm, but not a single drop of rain fell from the sky.
Instead, something even more horrific began unfolding.
The ground cracked open, and decayed hands wrapped in bandages stretched out from the fissures as though reaching from the pits of hell.
As the figures slowly revealed themselves and stumbled forward, the people screamed in horror and ran for their lives.
"UNDEAD!! THERE ARE UNDEAD IN THE CITY!!"
"UNDEAD!! GET OUT OF MY WAY!!"
"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!"
"GET OFF ME!! STOP HOLDING ONTO ME!!…"
BANG!!
In the distance, a young man was unable to understand what was happening when the gold coin in his hand slowly vibrated and began to suck his life essence, causing his body to shrivel up until there was nothing left except a pile of bones wearing worn-out clothes.
The coin fell out of the man's grasp and rolled on the ground, emitting a blood-red, flickering glow that merged with the glowing magic circles.
Witnessing this scene, the people around him screamed in terror. They pushed against each other, desperate to reach a safer area.
Across the city, chaos spread as undead soldiers rose from the cracked earth and attacked the people.
The Empire of Ababwa's imperial forces quickly took their positions across the city against the undead, supporting the Kingdom of Agrabah's soldiers, who were terrified and unsure of what to do, as they had never encountered such a situation and had no experience dealing with it.
However, seeing as the foreign soldiers and magicians faced off against the undead, they quickly recovered their bearings and fought back.
"CHARGE!! DON'T LET ANY ONE OF THEM GET THROUGH THE PALACE GATES!!" Razoul, the leader of the Royal Guards, ordered furiously as he pointed his curved blade at the approaching swarms of undead soldiers.
The soldiers fired flaming arrows at them, alongside the imperial soldiers and magicians of Ababwa, who launched concentrated blasts of magic, halting the undead and destroying them.
Although he didn't fully understand what was going on, Razoul had received orders from the Sultan to protect the palace gates and all the guests within.
Seeing his soldiers fighting alongside Ababwa's Imperial forces against the swarms of undead in the city, he steeled himself and launched a coordinated attack.
Somewhere within an alley, Nasira observed the fierce battle between her undead summons and the soldiers and magicians, and she snorted with displeasure.
Somehow, Ababwa's forces were far more skilled than she had expected.
Nasira had drawn an enormous magical circle across the entire Kingdom of Agrabah and exchanged the lives of several inhabitants of the kingdom, as well as using the dense dark magical energy in the region to summon a legion of undead.
This had taken her five days to achieve, so she had arrived in Agrabah earlier to make her preparations.
In time, as long as the undead reaped more lives, those people would also turn into the undead and attack the living. Slowly, this entire kingdom would be turned into a cursed Kingdom of the Undead.
It was through this method that she had previously conquered other kingdoms.
However, the spell had one weakness: as long as the undead were completely destroyed, the curse would disappear, and the land would revert to normal.
Nasira couldn't allow that to happen.
Nasira stepped out of the alley and approached the battlefield, and as she did so, she felt a burst of emotions within her and couldn't help but utter a song to go with the event.
[I said your name into the dark
I waited for a sign.
I tried every spell I know—
Nothing answered back this time.]
[I looked for your were souls should be..
In every place they go…
But there was nothing there at all.
So tell me..
Where did you go?]
Nasira struck the ground with her staff.
A ripple of immense magical energy surged out from it and spread across the bazaar.
Instantly, a shockingly bizarre scene unfolded, the stalls and tables moved, stretching out their legs as though shaking off sleep.
Canopies, umbrellas, knives, and other inanimate objects surged to life and charged at the forces of Agrabah and Ababwa.
Astounded and overwhelmed by the sudden barrage of attacks from inanimate objects, the forces of Agrabah and Ababwa slowly retreated.
