c47 - Changes Over Three Months
For the next period of time, Harvey devoted himself entirely to practicing Void Magic, except for eating.
Possessing immense power without perfect control meant it couldn't truly belong to him.
Therefore, Harvey's initial casting speed was extremely slow, but he wasn't in a hurry.
He practiced steadily and meticulously for over two months.
All the evolution points he accumulated during these two months were invested in Kha'Zix's Void Skin.
He evolved Void Skin eighty-one times, simultaneously bringing Kha'Zix's evolution count to three hundred.
After three hundred evolutions, the evolution points required for each evolution increased by half, requiring 1.5 million evolution points per evolution.
This increase in evolution points made Harvey's heart pound.
However, he didn't have the opportunity to choose more hero templates.
Therefore, he had to invest all his evolution points in Void Skin, at least to evolve it one hundred times.
Now, his Void Skin has evolved eighty-one times, thanks to the continuous evolution of Void Skin.
This also significantly enhanced Harvey's physical strength, allowing him to fly at speeds approaching Mach 6 within Earth's atmosphere.
In close-quarters combat, physical movement was faster than using void magic to traverse space.
Because Harvey lacked suitable testing grounds, he wasn't sure of the full extent of his physical power.
However, his defense was undoubtedly formidable, as his increased speed was a direct result of his strengthened physiology, similar in principle to enhanced beings in Marvel such as Captain Marvel when operating under extreme conditions.
This allowed him to withstand the intense friction and shockwaves generated by high-speed flight, and when using void magic, his speed reached Mach 8 through spatial acceleration.
Compared to his speed about nine months prior, his speed had doubled, and his strength and abilities were more comprehensive.
With his current strength and abilities, he could prepare to venture into outer space and spread the will of the void.
But before that, after finishing breakfast, Harvey mentally surveyed New York City and vanished from his spot.
Over three months, Tony Stark had evolved thirty-seven times.
Each evolution contributed an additional 2000 void energy, totaling 74,000 void energy.
Pepper Potts, perhaps because her desire for power wasn't as strong, only evolved seventeen times in three months.
Each evolution contributed 100 Void Energy, providing him with a mere 1,700 Void Energy.
Clearly, compared to the rapidly adapting Tony Stark, Pepper's contribution was relatively small.
However, it was better than nothing. Harvey's goal was primarily to attract those with weaker destinies.
The Void Energy provided was small, but in large quantities, it would accumulate into an astonishing reserve.
Currently, Harvey possessed a modest 175,000 Void Energy.
He was still far from reaching his goal of exchanging 100 million Void Energy for a Decepticon Void Raider.
However, once he set foot beyond Earth and into the wider cosmic stage, where civilizations like the Kree and Skrulls thrived, this goal wouldn't be too far off.
The universe was teeming with countless advanced civilizations and technologies; possessing control technology similar to that of the Cybertronian race would allow his informational capabilities to cover an immense distance.
Meanwhile, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts were having breakfast.
Pepper planned to go to work at Stark Industries after eating, while Tony Stark continued his research.
Suddenly, they saw a purple-black spatial rift appear, as if space itself had been torn open before them.
Tony Stark's eyes narrowed slightly; he had seen such purple distortions before during Void traversal.
Pepper was startled.
She had learned from Tony about the hidden side of the world, things beyond human comprehension like gods, sorcerers, and powerful figures connected to Earth such as Ancient One.
The sudden appearance of this purple spatial rift—did it mean they had been discovered?
However, under their gaze,
a tall, handsome young man with black hair and eyes stepped out.
"Mr. Harvey Ambellaca,"
Pepper greeted politely, her initial shock subsiding.
Tony Stark had witnessed the far more powerful Harvey Ambellaca and roughly guessed that the spatial distortion was created by him.
"Harvey, this should be the first time you've come to my house on your own initiative."
"You're coming all this way, you must have something to tell me, right?"
So Tony Stark wasn't too surprised to see Harvey Ambellaca appear, and said.
"Yeah, I've decided to leave Earth and travel the universe."
After Harvey walked out, the spatial rift behind him closed instantly, as if reality had never been disturbed. Hearing Tony's words, he nodded slightly.
"I really wish I could travel the universe with you."
"But I'm still too weak right now."
Tony Stark stopped eating when he saw Harvey's arrival, clenched his fist, and said.
In the past three months, he could feel himself evolving many times. His appearance had returned to what he looked like when he was twenty-four years old. He looked incredibly handsome and spirited, and his strength had surpassed normal human limits.
Tony Stark hadn't forgotten why he wanted to join the Void, so in addition to his daily eating and evolution,
his research hadn't slowed down. In three months, he had successfully developed a new clean energy element to replace palladium in the Arc Reactor, eliminating the toxicity issue that once threatened his life.
The Iron Man suit was constantly being improved, and in terms of firepower, mobility, and energy efficiency, the latest generation of Iron Man suits was far superior to his earlier models.
At least he couldn't yet rely solely on his body to fly freely in the atmosphere for extended periods, let alone reach Mach 3 speeds or continuously fire high-output energy blasts like his suits could.
Another reason he was working hard to improve the Iron Man suit was that it allowed him to temporarily conceal his identity.
He hadn't publicly revealed the full truth of his current condition, and even when he went out, he often relied on the Iron Man suit as a cover.
Although many said he was too flamboyant, his voice and behavior still matched the public persona people were familiar with.
Furthermore, he hadn't used the Iron Man suit recklessly to cause widespread destruction, so he hadn't attracted attention from major organizations like S.H.I.E.L.D..
Compared to him, who needed to be more cautious, Pepper was much more composed.
Pepper had also told him that she felt her body had evolved more than ten times, although the rate of evolution was relatively slow.
However, Tony Stark didn't know if it was because their psychological pursuits were different, leading to different evolutionary paths.
Pepper had evolved more than ten times, strengthening her physique and making her significantly stronger than an ordinary person, but the enhancement wasn't as explosive. The most noticeable change was in Pepper's appearance.
Now, Pepper looked like she was in her twenties, with fair, smooth skin, even more beautiful, and a confident, captivating aura.
Perhaps because Pepper had broadened her horizons and understood that her lifespan was no longer limited, her behavior had also changed; she no longer spoke as impulsively as before.
Although there were some rumors circulating, most believed that Pepper had undergone subtle cosmetic procedures and maintained her appearance exceptionally well.
Compared to being directly exposed as something abnormal, these rumors clearly didn't affect Pepper's mood.
