The two of them sat down at a table near the wall that had the bag with the clay tablet in it. Two leather chairs on each side of the table.
On it were many different foods, like strawberries, steaks, juice, french fries, and even cake.
Time looked at the strawberries before quickly eating at them. She spoke to the Queen Sorceress, who was sitting opposite her and watched her eat while smiling, "I didn't know strawberries existed in this world."
Queen Sorceress responded, "They don't. I got them from the Starsea's farms." Time, hearing the name Starsea, spoke, "They're from 'Bountiful Harvests'?"
Hearing the title, Queen Sorceress laughed a little. "Heh... Now that I think about it, Orc—I mean 'Lord of Devils'—should have had that title."
She took one of the strawberries and looked at it. "He is the one that started the farm in the first place."
Queen Sorceress's eyes were quite melancholic. She exhaled and spoke again, "So you are returning as planned?"
Time stopped gulping on the strawberries and spoke, "Yes, my..." She smiled a little. "...mother, is having the baby."
Queen Sorceress responded, "You could still stay. It's not like you will miss it." She began to cut her steak. "With your abilities, this whole matter would go smoothly."
Time responded, "As much as I don't like 'It', I know that this thing will go as planned." She drank some juice that was in a cup on the table. "After all, causality will not allow such a matter to not happen."
Queen Sorceress smiled at the word 'Causality.' "Well, I still have to wait until I pass that book to him before I leave." She took a bite of the steak. "After that, I will be out of causality myself and can do whatever."
Time looked at Queen Sorceress and asked, "So what are you planning to do?" Queen Sorceress smiled and spoke, "Can't say. After all, if I say it now, it's gonna be within causality."
...
A little while later, in front of the church of Mardrago, Jack stood outside looking at a large crowd of people that were inside and outside of the church.
Some of them left holding cups of water; he himself also had a cup of water that was of bronze and was the only cup he had in his house that wasn't made of leather.
Besides him stood Bren, who also had a cup.
As for the reason behind this whole event? Today was a holiday held by the church of Mardrago, known as the 'First Guidance.' It started early in the morning with Priest Aldwin preaching about the first act of guidance done by Mardrago.
In which he saved three stranded people in a boat after their ship failed near the edge of the Grand Storm in the North East, this happening 700 years ago. Those people were also the ones that started the religion in the first place, which became influential to the coastal nations.
Jack remembered all of this and thanked Priest Aldwin inwardly. Thanks to him, he didn't stand out due to his lack of knowledge.
As for the water? It was a holy water that apparently brought good luck, it was made by an artifact of the church that was brought here from the main church up north. Due to that, the person that delivered it had to leave weeks in advance and use the currents of the Mehatot River that came from the Drago Mountain Range in the north as well as another two artifacts that significantly increased his travel speed.
This he learned from Bren, who in turn learned from Aldric. As for the artifacts, he didn't know much apart from the fact that one of the artifacts was a boat that was very sturdy.
The person apparently stopped by a few cities along the way in different nations to make sure they all had the water, eventually he stopped at the last point on the continent, which was in his nation the Kingdom of Troc.
After a few hours of staying around and chatting with Bren and his family, the church began to clear up. With Bren and Jack entering the church, he saw Priest Aldwin, Deacon Lucius, as well as Aldric, who was sitting down.
Aldwin was an older man in his 60's with a long beard reaching down to his collarbone; his hair was gray.
After speaking his blessings to Jack, Aldwin asked, "Will you bestow it to your their graves?"
What graves? Jack instinctively responded, "...Yes."
Aldwin made a gesture of tapping three fingers on his forehead and spoke, "You are a brilliant child of both Gale and The Lord."
Aldric tapped Jack's shoulder. "Do you want me to go with you?" Jack stood there for a moment and said. "Lead the way."
