The zombies were Undead. They didn't breathe or eat. But their nervous system was still the reason behind why they could move.
Carter mixed the explosiveness of the Cloud Powder with a few neurotoxin. It made the zombies fell to the ground and convulsed, unable to do anything else.
Carter bolted to the man and helped him up. "We need to be quick. This poison won't last long."
"Thank you, my friend. I am grateful!"
"Don't mention it. It is the duty of a doctor after all."
The man's eyebrows twitched gently but he didn't say anything.
Carter caught that reaction and pretended to not notice it. He got the man out of the deadly situation and found an abandoned house to hide in.
With his Medical Bag, Carter took out bandages and disinfectant.
"Drink this. This is Antibiotic Potion. It will keep your body from being infected."
And with that, one of his Antibiotic Bottle was gone.
The man drank without questions.
