He turned his neck to look at Bryce. “Step back.”

The threat in his tone was clear. “Or I’ll make you step back.”

Neo was betrayed and left to die in the most important mission of his life. 

When he opened his eyes again, it was ten years later and the world had moved on without him. He, who was once the strongest hunter on Mars, suddenly became a civilian without any of his abilities.

Neo looked down at Helios's figure that was crouched into himself. He had gotten used to Helios looking down at him, sneering at him.


Staring at him on the floor, groaning and in pain, Neo believed the sight was much more pleasing to the eyes.

Neo nodded at the sound of the automated voice, before crossing over Helios's body. 


He was really in need of medical attention. Neo glanced at his arms to check his bruises. They must be–


Neo froze just in front of the door. His bruises… they were not there. Neo thought his eyes were deceiving him. He pulled up both of his sleeves to check better and saw that really, there were no bruises.
