~Aria's POV
I grabbed my own coat, the fabric cool against my skin. We stepped outside together, the evening air soft, carrying the faint scent of dinner from nearby homes. The street was quiet, the sky painted in shades of pink and orange. The light hit the trees just right, casting long shadows over the pavement.
"It's beautiful," I murmured, glancing at the sky. "An evening like this… it makes everything feel calmer, slower."
Karina nodded. "That's why I like taking walks at this time," she said. "The day isn't over, but the rush has passed. You notice things you'd otherwise miss."
We walked in silence for a few moments, letting the calm wrap around us. The soft sound of our shoes on the pavement and the faint rustle of leaves in the breeze were almost enough, until I spoke again.
"Do you think… the restaurant will have something simple, not too fancy?" I asked, glancing at her.
