Chapter 282: Disboard, Tet—The One Who Also Possesses the Power of the Gods?
....
Back with Seito and the others.
The Domain of the Gods!
As mentioned before, the Domain of the Gods is a massive interconnected zone spanning ten floors. More importantly, it is an entire galaxy! Upon arrival, Seito and his companions were immediately greeted by an endless river of stars—shining nebulae and star-dusted voids, a vista of beauty that can only be found in the deep cosmos.
[Welcome to the Domain of the Gods]
[Detection complete: Your status is Great God of the Earth]
[Affiliated Faction: Earth!]
[The God Domain will accelerate the fusion of the Earth, integrating your home world into the God Domain!]
Seito rubbed his chin as he listened to the system prompts. The message was quite clear: the Earth was his starting world. But... what would happen once the Earth fully integrated into the God Domain? Seito pondered this. If the Earth merged with the God Domain, what became of the universe in the "real world"? Could it be...
[Ding! The God Domain is the universe!]
[Players may understand the God Domain as a Primordial Creation System.]
[This system operates automatically; at set intervals, it pulls habitable planets into its fold.]
[Integrating the Earth into the God Domain is simply moving its location within the vast universe.]
Seeing this, realization dawned on Seito. So that was it. This explained the nature of the "real world." There was no fundamental division between reality and the God Domain—they both existed within the same universe!
However, Seito wondered why the system was designed this way. There had to be a reason, one he likely wouldn't uncover until he reached the rank of Main God.
"Seito-nii... I've been directly assigned to the Earth faction."
"Guild Leader, it's the same for me and Shiro."
Shiro and Ako spoke up one after the other. Their assignment was simple—they were Seito's Subordinate Deities. But Seito looked over at Sora.
"Can you still choose your faction independently?"
"Yeah," Sora nodded. "I can choose freely."
Since Sora had ascended via a standard progression, he was different from the other three. Strictly speaking, he didn't belong to any specific faction yet.
"Need me to go undercover?" Sora looked at Seito with a smirk.
"No need." Seito shook his head and opened the Divine Faction Panel. He was already at the peak of the God rank; needing Sora to go undercover would be a bit pathetic.
[Divine Factions]
[Earth: God of Space — Sei (Seito)]
[Disboard: God of Games — Tet]
"???"
Seito froze the moment he saw the second entry. Disboard? Tet? Wasn't that the god from No Game No Life? The one who held the authority over the world "Disboard"
where Sora and Shiro were summoned?
Seito rubbed his chin. Tet possessed the Authority of Creation, something Seito also held as the Great God of the Earth—giving him absolute mastery over his home world. On the Earth, he was an omniscient and omnipotent Creator. But that was limited to a single planet.
Thinking of the Suniaster (Star Grail), Seito's expression turned peculiar. That was a high-tier artifact, capable of granting any wish. Seito suspected that thing possessed creation-level power, otherwise it couldn't be so broken. After all, even Tet himself couldn't simply "create" the Star Grail.
Seito scanned the rest of the list. Most of the other factions were unknown to him; Tet was the only familiar face.
"Nii, there's another God of Games here, just like you," Shiro said, looking at Sora.
"Oh?" Sora opened the panel, and his lips curled into a grin. "Interesting. Another God of Games?" He chuckled. To hold the Game Divinity meant the individual was incredibly skilled at gaming. Sora truly wanted to see just how powerful this fellow was.
"Seito, what's our next move?" Sora asked playfully.
"Obviously, we go find this God of Games." Seito's lips quirked up.
"Fine, but I'll have to leave the navigation to you." Sora, Shiro, and Ako didn't have Seito's level of perception. Although Seito was "only" at the peak of the God rank, sensing an entire galaxy was relatively easy for him, especially with his Spatial attributes.
Seito nodded, closed his eyes, and expanded his senses.
Meanwhile...
Disboard (The Game Star), Domain of the Gods.
A pink-haired sh*ta wearing a beret suddenly snapped his eyes open.
"Hmm? This... the sensory power of an unknown god?"
"Interesting!"
Tet started to laugh. As a peak God-rank entity, it had been a long time since anyone dared to "scout" him so blatantly. Why could Tet detect Seito? Two reasons:
They were both at the same peak God-rank level.
As the Main God of Disboard, he held the Authority of Creation, making him omniscient within his domain.
Though his core power was the Game Divinity, the blessing of omniscience allowed him to feel the ripples in space.
Zip—!
Without hesitation, Tet left Disboard and flew into the vacuum of space. "Hurry up and let me see who you are..." Tet muttered with a grin.
Back with Seito.
Seito felt a strange ripple and sensed a shift in the atmosphere. "Looks like the other side has already found me."
He wasn't surprised. Tet was also a Main God of his world; being able to sense him was expected.
"Oh?" Sora said with interest. "Is this god also a Main God (World Holder)?"
Sora immediately grasped the key point. If this "God of Games" could sense Seito's probe, it meant they possessed a level of power comparable to a world-holding deity.
"Yes," Seito nodded. "Let's go."
With that, he took the lead, flying toward Disboard. The other three followed closely behind.
