"No problem, Guild Master!" Ako dutifully unequipped her gear and handed it to Shoko Nishimiya.
Shoko tried to decline at first, but Seito stopped her.
"It's fine, Shoko, take it. This gear isn't that valuable anyway!"
Only then did Shoko put the equipment on. Meanwhile, Ako donned the Poison set Seito had given her.
"Good. From this day forward, you are the Eighth Executive of the Fatui!" Seito looked at Ako with satisfaction. A Poison Priest as the Eighth Executive—it felt perfectly balanced.
"Eh?!" Ako froze, waving her hands frantically. "Guild Master, I... I'm not cut out for that."
"I say you are, so you are." Seito didn't give her a chance to argue and immediately set her permissions to High Management in the guild interface. He then pulled out an Executive overcoat and handed it to her.
This sight made a certain little secretary nearby very envious.
"Wow! Ako, you're an Executive now! I'm following you from now on!" Chika Fujiwara said with a giggle.
She wasn't actually envious of the status; Chika was a total airhead. What she envied was simply how cool the coat looked. Her brain was wired a bit differently than everyone else's.
Once they finished chatting, Seito turned to Sora. "How is it? Any news on pets or territory today?"
"No luck on territory," Sora replied, shaking his head.
This was within Seito's expectations. Territories were hard to come by, and they hadn't searched very far in just one day. Moreover, the safe zones on these floors were either in major cities or bustling towns filled with high-level NPCs. Attacking those spots would trigger a massive NPC response, making them poor choices for a base.
"However," Sora shifted gears, "there's plenty of news regarding pets."
"Oh? Tell me the details."
Sora explained the intel they had gathered. While every floor in God's Domain had pets, they were notoriously difficult to find. Floor 25, however, was famous for sightings of Gold-grade pets, hence its name: the Home of Pets. In fact, aside from the Floor Boss, there were no normal monsters here—most of the creatures roaming the wild were actually catchable pets!
Hearing this, Seito's eyes sparkled. "So that's why it's called the Home of Pets."
He rubbed his chin, thinking of Maple and Sally's pets from the anime. Those two had been hatched from eggs dropped by a Boss. While he knew Bosses dropped pets, finding them was the issue, as they spawned randomly in the vast wilderness.
"Let's head out and catch some," Seito suggested. He had a fun idea: if they could corner the market on pets and sell them for gold, they could become the ultimate in-game capitalists.
Everyone agreed. Just then, Shiro walked up to Seito and pulled an Orange-grade material from her inventory.
"Seito-ni, this is the material Nii and I farmed today. It's for speed enhancement. For you~"
Seito's eyes lit up. He took the material and patted Shiro on the head. "Thanks, Shiro."
He had already collected three Orange-grade materials. The reason he hadn't crafted a piece of Golden gear yet was that he wanted to upgrade his White Dragon Ring. Its current stats were simply too underwhelming.
Shiro squinted her large eyes, looking like a pampered kitten enjoying Seito's touch.
Withdrawing his hand, Seito turned toward Maple. He placed both hands on her head, gave it a firm rub, and then pressed his palms together, bowing to her.
"Oh Great Goddess of Luck, bless me with your fortune!"
Maple's face turned bright red. This is too much! She really didn't think she was that lucky! And yet, the feeling of Seito rubbing her head left her heart fluttering.
Seeing this, the other Executives—Sora, Shiro, Sally, Kanade, Amou, and Ako—all followed suit and bowed toward Maple. Don't ask why! Just worship the Goddess of Luck and soak up that "Gacha" energy!
Activating his skill, Seito sucked everyone into the Kamui Space, followed by himself.
Inside the Kamui Space, Seito wasted no time. He pulled out every material he had gathered and took off his ring. He threw the Golden-tier crafting materials into the furnace, followed by his Red-tier materials.
Instantly, the crafting process began!
Among these materials, aside from the "Spatial Orb" he had looted from Kaguya Shinomiya earlier, the rest were focused on speed. The resulting gear was bound to have a "Spatial Set" effect. And since he had "borrowed" the Goddess of Luck's energy, failure was out of the question!
Ten minutes later...
Under everyone's watchful eyes, the furnace let out a thunderous roar! A beam of white light shot out, hovering in mid-air.
They all looked up. A ring, deep purple in color and etched with intricate dragon patterns, appeared before them.
