Xinghe blurted the response instinctively, but his expression immediately turned bizarre. Seito's face mirrored the same odd look. The foot of Mount Tai? A parking guard? Why does that self-introduction sound so suspiciously familiar?

Using Spatial Movement, Seito blinked forward and brought his blade down in a swift arc.

The sound of cold steel shearing through flesh echoed. Xinghe's body was severed cleanly in two. His eyes bulged; he hadn't even processed the movement before his life bar hit zero. His form dissolved into glowing light particles as he was forcibly exited from the event.
The entire battlefield fell into a deafening silence.
On the opposing side, the remaining Kings frowned in unison at the sight of Seito one-shotting their vanguard.
"That attack power is absurd," the Magma King muttered, his expression grim. If he faced Seito in a 1v1, he doubted he'd last a single second. Between Seito's spatial displacement and his "Kamui"
invulnerability, any head-on clash was a death sentence.
"Sei!" the Night King bellowed. "Do you have the courage to engage in five duels between champions first?"
In massive battles, it was customary to hold "Champion Duels" to test the waters. It was a matter of morale.
Seito nodded slowly. He had 50,000 men, but aside from the Executives and Officers, the regular members were wavering. A few duel victories would be a perfect morale booster.
However... Seito was never one to play by the rules.

He blinked back to his Executives and glanced at the Officers behind him. "Kirito, you're up."
"Understood," Kazuto nodded. Seito had already made his point by killing the first guy; now it was time for the Officers to shine. Sending an Executive out now would just be bullying.
Kazuto walked to the center of the clearing. The 9th-ranked Backing King signaled a high-level player behind him. "Absolute Poison, go deal with that brat!"
"On it...!"
Absolute Poison transformed into a cloud of black mist and lunged toward Kazuto. But just as the two were about to clash, Seito's voice rang out like a thunderclap:
"EVERYONE! CHARGE!"
Flash!
Before the word "charge" even finished echoing, Seito appeared directly in front of the 10th-ranked King and slashed down.
BOOM!
The 10th King disintegrated into pixels before he could even draw his weapon. The sudden betrayal of etiquette left the coalition stunned.
A second later, the Fatui reacted. The Executives led the charge, dragging the entire guild into a frenzied assault!

A massive crowd-control skill locked down the movements of the surrounding players. Seito unleashed a barrage of AOE skills, while the twenty-seven cubes overhead pulsed with spatial energy.
KABOOM!!!
A single rotation of his skills deleted hundreds of thousands of players. But he didn't stop. Maple raised her greatshield and charged in, holding her shortsword New Moon high.
"Paralyzing Shout!"
The moment Seito's control ended, Maple's followed up. Her AOE wasn't as vast, but the duration was incredibly long. For a moment, the Fatui held the absolute advantage. Shiro and Haruno rained down magical destruction from the backlines, their spells carving bloody paths through the sea of players.
Five minutes in, and millions were dead. But the Fatui were hurting too. Their numbers were far smaller, and they had already lost nearly 30,000 regular members who were overwhelmed by sheer weight of numbers.

The Safe Zone.
Spectators gasped at the breathtaking scale of the slaughter. Inside the tavern, Asuna leaned forward, analyzing the feed.
"From the current look of it, the Fatui still have the upper hand. Why? Because of the Executives and Officers. Even if their regular members die out, as long as the core powerhouses remain, they are unstoppable."
"True," Kaguya Shinomiya agreed, her eyes fixed on the screen. "But the coalition still has four Kings. If they use human-wave tactics to drain Seito's mana pool, they could win. However... a man like Seito doesn't take risks he hasn't already calculated. The Fatui will take this."
Back on the Battlefield.
Another thirty minutes passed. The landscape was unrecognizable. Of the Fatui, only the Executives remained; every regular member and Officer had fallen in battle.
But the opposition was in far worse shape. Out of 50 million, only 60,000 players and a single King—the Night King—remained.
The outcome was decided. Seito leveled the tip of his Spatial Dragon Tachi at the Night King's chest.
"You've lost."
