Side Story 1
Ramesh
Before the birth of Siddharth, everything was going fine.
Ramesh and his wife Deepika were living a peaceful life filled with love, but they were not rich.
Ramesh's father had his own enterprise, but it was not making much profit.
As time passed, Deepika's delivery date arrived.
She was very nervous, but Ramesh stayed beside her, giving her hope.
Deepika was admitted to the hospital, but complications occurred.
After 8 hours, the doctors came out.
The whole hospital went silent.
"Sorry… our hospital doesn't have enough equipment to handle this complication."
Ramesh broke down.
He didn't have enough money to save his wife and child.
He sat down on a chair, his mind filled with confusion.
He didn't know what to do.
He started calling everyone… asking for money.
But no one helped him.
He lowered his head and sat there in silence.
The doctor said, "You have 1 hour to decide."
On the other side, Deepika was fighting through unbearable pain… just to see her baby.
After 5 minutes…
Ramesh made a decision.
A decision he never wanted to make… but he did.
He called someone.
"Ring… ring…"
"I want to sell my enterprise… give me the money instantly."
The other person agreed immediately.
Ramesh got the money and ran towards the doctor.
"DOCTOR! DOCTOR!"
"Do whatever you need… just save my wife and my child!"
The doctor referred them to a private hospital with better facilities.
After 2 hours…
Siddharth was born.
Deepika was unconscious… but alive.
---
Ramesh sat on a bench and made a promise to himself.
"I will earn enough money… so my family never suffers like this again."
He started working a job with a salary of 20k.
At the same time, he spent more than 6 hours daily on his laptop.
He was building something better… an upgraded version of his old enterprise.
Deepika was worried, but she supported him.
After 1 year… he succeeded.
He started a new enterprise.
This time, the business grew rapidly.
But with success… he became busy.
He couldn't give enough time to his family.
Sometimes, Ramesh and Deepika argued.
Ramesh would say,
"I am doing all this for you and our child."
Deepika understood… but she only wanted one thing.
His time.
---
Ramesh started getting business opportunities from abroad.
Eventually, he began living outside the country.
He only returned on special occasions like birthdays.
Ramesh was lonely.
But in his mind, one thought kept repeating—
"My family will never suffer again."
For the people he loved the most…
he slowly started distancing himself from them.
---
Siddharth was now 8 years old, living with his mother.
One day, Deepika suddenly fainted.
Siddharth panicked.
"MOM… MOM!!"
He started crying.
There was no one.
---
At the same time, Ramesh was in America… busy in a business meeting.
Siddharth kept calling him… but he didn't answer.
A neighbor took Deepika to the hospital.
The situation was tense.
Everyone was praying.
But Siddharth… was just calling his father.
Again and again.
---
The doctor said,
"We need to perform a brain operation."
"Siddharth… you need to sign here."
His world stopped.
His hands were trembling.
He didn't understand anything.
He just wished… his father was there.
But still…
he signed.
---
The operation began.
On the other side, Ramesh's meeting ended.
He checked his phone.
So many missed calls.
He called back.
And heard… a child crying.
---
The moment he heard about Deepika's condition…
His world collapsed.
His body started shaking.
His mind went blank.
He rushed to the airport… trying to return to India.
But it was too far.
---
After the operation, Deepika wanted to see Ramesh.
The doctor said…
"She only has a few hours."
---
Siddharth walked towards her with trembling steps.
Deepika smiled weakly.
"I love you… my son."
"Take care of your father…"
---
After a few hours…
The monitor went flat.
A sharp, unbearable sound filled the room.
Deepika was gone.
---
Siddharth stood there…
Alone.
---
When Ramesh arrived…
It was too late.
He saw his wife…
And broke completely.
---
There was only one thing left behind.
A letter from Deepika.
"Please take care of Siddharth…
Never leave him… protect him."
---
But from that moment…
Siddharth stopped believing in his father.
And slowly…
that belief turned into hatred.
