Seeing the [Side Quest] released by the system, Gento put his mind at ease.
Killing Danzo would reward a Clan Relocation Card.
This meant that even if they killed that old bastard, the Uchiha clan would still have a way out to retreat safely.
Since that was the case, there was nothing left to worry about.
When Danzo saw Gento suddenly appear, a look of wariness immediately surfaced on his face.
He instinctively took half a step back, his expression dark as he spoke:
"Gento Uchiha, what is the meaning of you forcibly detaining the Jinchuriki within the Uchiha clan grounds?"
His voice rose slightly, attempting to seize the high ground in the conversation:
"I seriously suspect that your Uchiha clan is plotting some kind of unspeakable conspiracy!"
Hearing this, Gento let out a cold sneer.
He said nothing.
What answered Danzo was a yellow giant that appeared out of thin air.
The enormous fist of Susanoo, wrapped in howling wind, smashed down viciously toward Danzo!
"What?!"
Danzo's pupils shrank sharply, not expecting Gento to attack without a word.
He rolled to the side in a miserable scramble to dodge, even his cane flying out of his grasp.
Boom!
The giant fist slammed into the ground, sending shattered stones flying and leaving behind a deep crater.
Two Root Ninja who failed to dodge in time were struck head-on by the massive fist, not even having time to scream before being crushed into two pools of flesh.
"Damn it!"
Danzo cursed angrily as he climbed back to his feet.
"Gento Uchiha, you dare attack the high officials of the Hidden Leaf Village?!"
Gento's eyes were filled with coldness:
"You barged into the Uchiha clan grounds with Root Ninja and tried to forcibly arrest someone. Why shouldn't I attack you?"
As his words fell, Susanoo smashed down with another punch.
Danzo dodged again in a sorry state.
The surviving Root Ninja quickly reacted, throwing kunai tied with explosive tags toward Gento.
Bang Bang Bang Bang!
A series of explosions erupted, flames and smoke engulfing Gento.
Danzo panted heavily, staring at the cloud of smoke.
The smoke gradually dispersed.
The yellow Susanoo stood there unscathed.
Its massive fist lifted once more, smashing toward him.
Bang!
Danzo barely avoided it, cold sweat seeping from his forehead.
As he dodged, he frantically thought of countermeasures.
Right then-
Puchi!
The sound of flesh being pierced rang out.
Danzo's body trembled as he looked down at his chest.
A massive green chakra greatsword had pierced through his chest from behind, the blade tip emerging from the front, dripping with blood.
He struggled to turn his head.
Shisui stood behind him, his green Susanoo holding the greatsword, watching him expressionlessly.
"Danzo-sama!"
Several surviving Root Ninja cried out in shock.
Danzo opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but his figure suddenly disappeared.
Shisui's pupils contracted.
"Be careful!"
Gento's warning had just sounded when Danzo's figure appeared right in front of Kushina!
The kunai in his hand stabbed fiercely toward Kushina!
Kushina was startled, but her ninja instincts erupted instantly.
She twisted her body to avoid a fatal strike while simultaneously kicking toward Danzo.
Bang!
Danzo was knocked back several steps before steadying himself.
Gento narrowed his eyes slightly.
He had originally thought that Izanagi was a forbidden technique Danzo only obtained after the Uchiha clan's massacre.
Now it seemed that this old bastard had already mastered this technique through some means long ago.
"Clan Head!"
Shouts rang out from the distance.
Fugaku arrived with a large number of Uchiha clan members, surrounding the area tightly.
Danzo's expression changed.
The commotion here was growing larger and would inevitably attract even more Uchiha clan members.
If he didn't leave now, he might truly be unable to escape today.
He made a decisive decision:
"All Root Ninja, stay behind and hold them off, assist my retreat!"

That ninja pressed a kunai against Naruto's neck and shouted harshly:
"None of the Uchiha are to move! If anyone moves even a little, I'll kill him!"
Seeing Naruto taken hostage, Kushina's face instantly turned deathly pale:
"Naruto!"
She instinctively tried to rush forward.
Seeing this, the ninja immediately pushed the kunai forward slightly.
Naruto immediately let out a cry of pain.
Kushina could only force herself to stop in her tracks.
Naruto struggled desperately, his short legs kicking wildly:
"Damn it! Let me go!"
"Brat, behave yourself!"
"Ah!"
The ninja suddenly let out a cry of pain.
Naruto bit down hard on his hand, his small teeth deeply embedding into the flesh.
A vicious glint flashed in the ninja's eyes as his other hand slammed heavily into the back of Naruto's neck.
Bang.
Naruto's head tilted to the side, his body going limp, motionless.
"Naruto!"
Kushina let out a heartbroken cry.
Seeing her son beaten to an unknown state of life or death, the grief of a mother grew even more intense.
Danzo, who had originally been preparing to retreat, revealed a look of wild joy upon seeing this.
He immediately changed direction and rushed toward Naruto.
Gento instinctively moved to intercept.
"Don't move!"
Danzo shouted sharply, pointing the kunai in his hand at Naruto:
"Have your clan members fall back! Otherwise, this brat's life is forfeit!"
Gento's figure halted.
He did not doubt in the slightest that Danzo had the resolve to kill Naruto.
Very quickly, Danzo rushed to the side of the Root Ninja and snatched Naruto away.
Holding Naruto in one hand, he pressed the kunai against Naruto's tender neck with the other, a triumphant, ferocious grin spreading across his face:
"Gento Uchiha, immediately have your people withdraw one hundred meters from here! Otherwise…"
The kunai moved forward, leaving a shallow line of blood on Naruto's neck.
Gento fell silent for a moment, then said to the Uchiha who were looking at each other in dismay:
"Fall back."
"Clan Head!"
Fugaku's face was full of unwillingness.
"We can't do this…"
"Do it."
"…Yes!"
Although the Uchiha were filled with anger, they could only obey, slowly retreating.
Soon, a circular open space formed in the middle.
Only Gento, Kushina, Naruto, and Danzo's Root Ninja remained.
Seeing that Naruto's life truly could threaten Gento, Danzo became even more certain of his suspicions.
Gento spoke slowly, his voice calm:
"Danzo, release Naruto. Everything can still be discussed. I can let you leave safely."
Danzo sneered:
"Let me leave? Do you take me for a three-year-old child?"
A cold glint flashed in his eyes:
"If you want me to release this brat, that's fine–but you'll exchange yourself for him!"
Kushina's body trembled.
Gento, however, nodded without hesitation:
"Alright."
Danzo was momentarily stunned, suspicion flashing in his eyes.
Agreed so easily?
He immediately gave a cautious order:
"You few, go up and seal him!"
"Gento-kun!"
Kushina cried out.
"Don't listen to them!"
Danzo pushed the kunai forward again, snarling viciously:
"Don't you care about your son's life?"
Gento glanced back at Kushina, his gaze gentle:
"It's fine, Kushina."
He turned back to Danzo:
"You can have them seal me, but you must place Naruto on the ground first, then step back ten paces."
After a brief moment of thought, Danzo knew that if he didn't concede, Gento wouldn't agree.
So he nodded:
"Fine."
As he spoke, he truly bent down and placed Naruto on the ground, then retreated slowly with the Root Ninja beside him.
Ten steps.
Seeing this, Gento dispelled his Susanoo.
Four Root Ninja immediately surrounded him, placing their hands on his body.
"Double Tetragram Seal!"
The four of them shouted in unison.
Black markings spread out from their palms, crawling over Gento's entire body like living things.
A moment later, the sealing was complete.
"Danzo-sama, the sealing is complete!"
A fierce glint flashed in Danzo's eyes as he suddenly burst forward toward Gento!
"Die!"
The kunai in his hand stabbed straight toward Gento's throat!
"Clan Head!"
In the distance, the Uchiha clan members all rushed forward, trying to rescue him.
But the distance was too great.
Fugaku was still thirty meters away, the others even farther.
Even the fastest, Shisui, was still more than ten meters away.
There was no time.
The head of the Uchiha clan was about to be killed right before their eyes.
Just as Danzo had already rushed in front of Gento.
Danzo suddenly realized that there wasn't a trace of fear in Gento's gaze!
The Sharingan in his eyes slowly spun.
Then he spoke softly:
"Tokitsumori!"
