Morning sunlight poured through the massive glass walls of the penthouse, casting golden reflections across the sparkling floors and the calm blue ocean beyond. The penthouse sat hidden at the edge of one of Surbrind's quiet coastal districts, isolated enough to remain unnoticed yet luxurious enough to rival royal estates.
Sienna was slowly getting used to life there, and strangely enough, she liked it.
Isaac never truly restricted her movements. Aside from the handful of guards that silently shadowed her from a distance whenever she stepped outside, she had complete freedom. She could leave the penthouse anytime she wanted, explore Surbrind, visit libraries, parks, museums, or even spend hours sitting by the sea if she wished.
And most importantly, she could still treat patients.
