Arc 3 chapter 49
The word 'Tragedy' was not enough to describe the events that just happened in Lotus City. Almost half of the people who were above the surface were completely annihilated, the same goes for half the City itself.
Things went quiet, no sound at all... The remaining half still shocked and frozen in one place, not much reaction just pure silence... Until a certain mother, looked to the other side of her direction, where by she saw the head of son, a young boy no less. Once she saw this head which was completely devoid of life... She screamed, she screamed loud enough for the large portion of people near her to hear her scream of pain and despair.
The woman's cries instantly caused a panic among the remaining people who were still on the scene and once again order broke and now the city was filled with despair.
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, a certain girl was flying around the city spreading some sort of sparkling powder among the people while using her broom stick to fly around. She flew around what's left of the city as she spread this green shiny powder, [soothing powder] the ability which the elf girl is using to calm the people so that she can heal their injuries after they calmed down, using a wide spread healing magic to do so.
After everyone was calm, she headed straight to work and started healing the heavily injured people using basic healing magic to save her mana for the others who still require her aid.
Woman: thank you so much... Terka... We can always count on you, for help... Man we're so useless.
Terka: no don't worry about that cuz I got you.
Woman: (weak laugh) yes, well don't let me keep you for myself now. There's others who need your help.
Terka: yes ma'am!
Terka is an elf girl healer who specializes in healing magic and medicines as her specialty. She's short has green twin tails hair, she wears like a normal mage but has a broom stick as a wand and transport, she's 28 years old but looks 16 due to elven life span and finally her bust size? Well... It's B cup, but hey flat is justice. But she's highly insecure about that so many people don't try to glare or talk about breasts near her.
She continued to heal everyone that she could.
Meanwhile while at the church which was barely scratched, even though it was in the center of the city. The fight between Lazark(omega) and Gaari was...well disappointing since Gaari didn't stand a chance at all.
Every spell that Gaari threw against Lazark was instantly repelled or didn't do anything at all to this overpowered version of Lazark which didn't even need to activate any spells to knock Gaari around like a toy.
Lazark: you destroyed half of my city and here you are! Looking pathetic me! If you were gonna cause carnage to my city! (smashes Gaari to a brick) cause my people harm! (smashes him again) at least be ready for the consequences! (kicks him in the face, with brutal force).
Gaari: (trying to get up) my plan was perfect...and it still is... But I didn't expect Edwick to go this far though...
Lazark: well he did! And now I'll give you both hell!
Gaari: (laughs like a maniac) you may be able to defeat me easily... But Edwick? That's a different story director. Hell I don't even know anyone in the Red Hand who can kill the bastard, though I don't know everyone within the Red Hand.
Lazark: we can take him. We have Alga, Albert, Millicent and me.
Gaari: oh let me tell you this...(looks at him in the eyes) it's not enough to stop that madman.
Just after Gaari said those words, a magic cycle appeared underneath Gaari and the light from it, blinded Lazark for a second and when he came through, Gaari was already gone.
Lazark:.... Fuck!!!
Meanwhile at the top of the hill in the woods was Albert who was still restrained from using his mana by Edwick's spell. Albert was having mixed up emotions after he witnessed the destruction of half the city by a man he failed to defeat.
Edwick walked up to Albert and placed his hand on his shoulder, with a satisfied look on his face.
Edwick: come on. It's not like you lost your daughter down there. You don't have to beat yourself up for bieng weak.
Albert:...
Edwick: it was bound to happen, sooner or later. The Red Hand had it's eyes on this city for a while anyway.
Albert:...
Edwick: it looks like the barrier on that tree house mansion you came from had activated again, before my Tsunami slash huh? The mansion is still standing like a stubborn cockroach.
Albert:.... You'll pay for this....
Edwick: (evil smile) and how exactly?
Albert: because even though we're not heroes of justice... My squad doesn't like people like you (with a smile)
After these words, a portal appeared above Edwick and when he looked up, a maiden wearing golden woman's armor with the same old golden spear, popped up from that portal attempting to step on Edwick with that golden shoe which Edwick dogded and kept some distance.
Soon after the orange haired girl came out. Three more ladies popped up from the portal to stand along side Albert, and finally a boy showed up from within the portal before it closed.
Rachel Vall with a now new golden armor that fitted her like it was part of her skin, the Holy Armor of Alaxia which was supposed to be her gift after finishing the training of deep mana control, but it was an emergency. The armor covered her whole body and it boosted both defense and power and it totally didn't restrict movement, because it was flexible and it automatically fitted itself in Rachel's size.
Kali Hopster, now had a new swim suit like clothing which this time was dark blue and came with battle gloves and dark blue boots which boosted her speed and increased the rate of landing critical attacks to do triple the damage and improve her hand to hand battle power.
Martha, since this is likely her first battle (not including the Kraken), she was stationed for support.
Milly equipped any high ranking woman's armor she could come across since she couldn't prepare any armor for her, because no one expected a civil war, let alone Edwick.
Alex came with the same Fallen's armor from last time when he completed his training with Albert.
Albert: l would like to say I got this my self, but... I'd be lying.
Milly: we came here after we saw the wave of water that destroyed a portion of the city and..... I wanna put my hands on this fucker right now.
Albert: how about the people?
Milly: it looks like Terka has that covered.
Albert: who's Terka?
Milly: it's a long story, but basically she's someone a lot of us trust.
Albert:... I see, well I thought you couldn't teleport.
Milly: i used a grimore which I found in Sion's room.
Albert:... How many of my grimores did he take? Like leave some for Lucia.
Rachel: well he did us a favor, since we're here now.
Alex: yeah...and we're gonna make sure that this guy is six feet under!
Edwick: (smirk) I've head that many times before, but oh well... Let's see what you youngins can do.
