Eldrin nodded and said.
"Now,we may fight."
Mark this time didn't rush towards Eldrin and instead,he waited.
"Very well" Eldrin said as he rushed towards Mark. Once Eldrin was close enough, he threw a lightning-fast jab at Mark's face, but Mark dodged. Eldrin followed with an Elbow aimed at Mark's side of the head. Mark slipped under Eldrin's elbow strike and threw a left uppercut, which Eldrin easily caught.
Eldrin grabbed Mark's head and kneed him.
BAAM!
Eldrin then kicked Mark in the stomach to push him away.
Mark, now looking at Eldrin seriously, slowly approached him.
Once Mark was close enough, Eldrin threw a left high kick aimed directly at Mark's chin. Mark took a step back and dodged.
But Eldrin wasn't done, because right after the high kick missed, he threw a roundhouse kick.
BAAAM!
Mark barely managed to raise his guard and blocked the kick.
He looked at Eldrin with determination and rushed towards him.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAAM!
The loud shock waves caused by their attacks raised sand clouds in the air,Mark who had activated his hysterical strength state, barely managed to block Eldrin's attacks and slipped past or dodged those he couldn't. The gap in strength wasn't immense, but the gap in skill was. Eldrin wasn't just using fancy moves; every attack was calculated to force Mark into defence,making this a fight of attrition.
After 1 hour of Mark dodging or blocking Eldrin's moves,he grew tired, his vision was blurry and his body was full of sweat.
"Mark, use your brain. You should have noticed by now that my attack pattern has been the same all this time. You should have figured out a counter by now"Eldrin's voice broke the silence.
Mark's eyes widened in realization. Eldrin had been attacking him right before he attacked him. When he thought of throwing jabs, he would be met by Eldrin's jabs right after,and the same was for every move that he thought of using.
"He can read my body language; the reason he knows what attack I'm going to use before I use it is due to the stance that I need to take before using said attack."
Mark's left arm twitched,but before he could throw a jab,He was met with Eldrin's,but this time he caught it and threw a right hook at Eldrin's head.
BAAAAM!
Eldrin's head cracked slightly,but instead of a pained expression, he smiled.
"Well done!"He patted the proud Mark on the shoulder and said while handing him a biology book.
"Read this, focus on all the weaknesses of the human body, and memorize them. After you do, I will teach you my fighting style. It combines several advanced martial arts, along with my experience,knowing the weaknesses of the human body will make it much easier for you to learn it."
Mark smiled and thanked Eldrin.
"Now go,we will meet here in one week"said Eldrin while flying away.
Inside an underground facility stood Cecil,with his long blond hair and blue eyes.
"What are the results?" he asked the scientist who was staring at a holographic screen.
The scientist said with awe.
"Your body has been strengthened to superhuman levels; you could probably lift ten tonnes above your head. Your physical durability has also increased,making you bulletproof to low-caliber pistols. You also now have a strong healing factor and immunity system, your lifespan has increased to 2000 years, which is far beyond the lifespan of any creature we have ever recorded,and you can teleport."
Cicel was shocked.
"What the hell have I become?"
"You're still human if that's what you're worried about,but a super one"said Eldrin as he appeared out of nowhere for the millionth time.
Cecil sighed in relief when he heard that and asked hopefull.
"Are the vials for sale?"
Eldrin nodded and said while handing him a device.
"You can get anything you want from here. We take any currency,gold, dollars, even euros."
Cicel scanned the huge catalogue and was absolutely stupefied by the things he saw: spaceships,serums of all sorts,energy weapons, forcefields, military vehicles that looked to be futuristic, and there was even a serum that could regenerate and heal any kind of injury.
Cicel,curious about the legitimacy of this whole virtual shop, placed an order for one Nuka Cola and after three minutes, a blue portal manifested in that room,a delivery guy emerged from that portal and said.
"Delivery for Mr Cicel"
Cecil, with wide eyes, gave the man the money and took the Nuka-Cola in disbelief.
"What the hell? Did a deliveryman just teleport inside a highly fortified facility?"
Eldrin was surprised too; they were literally in a whole other world. At most, he expected a delivery to take a day if the deliveryman used the space portal.
Cecil looked at Eldrin in alarm.
Eldrin shrugged and said.
"Don't look at me like that, I don't know how either,ask Erskine,"and he disappeared.
"Who the fuck is Erskine?" muttered Cecil.
Eldrin appeared inside an underground base right below the space portal.
"Erskine, how di-"Eldrin was about to ask, but Erskine interrupted.
"We have put a special tracking device into Cicel's device,which allows us to manifest a portal using the tesseract into his exact coordinates. This is now the standard capabilities among courier companies. "
Eldrin just nodded in silence,his wasn't really a tech guy.
