Inside his wooden cabin, Eldrin was seen sitting on his couch.
However, today he seemed to be dazed, staring at the void.
Inside Eldrin's Mind.
CLANG! CLANG!
PIERCE!
Carnage is one of the many words to describe the current scene.
SLASH!
The sound of steel piercing and slashing flesh was overwhelming, nauseating even.
The smell of blood was thick, almost tangible.
Just as a man was about to shout.
INVADE-
PIERCE!
He was pierced by a spear from behind.
One figure seemed to be locked in a deadly fight protecting two figures, a boy and a woman.
He was single-handedly fighting two invaders wielding swords simultaneously.
CLANG! CLANG!
The man was skilled, deflecting both invaders' swords, seemingly wanting to tire them.
However, the man seemed to notice something, and with a panicked yell, he shouted.
BASILIA, TAKE THE KID AND RUN NOW!.
But BASILIA couldn't bear to leave her husband to die.
The man shouted again, now a trace of fury in his voice.
I SAID RUN!
I guess the second time was the charm. Basilian, filled with grief, finally ran along with her child in her embrace.
After a few moments, the man was surrounded by men wielding spears.
Yet the man did not flinch whatsoever, even in the face of death; he stood tall with his sword raised.
And with a finale War cry, he charged towards the nearest invader, slashing at his neck.
SLASH!
However, one of the invaders took advantage of that and pierced his abdomen with his spear.
PIERCE!
But to his horror, the man still stood, even with a spear in his abdomen; he still had the strength to grab the spear and pull it towards him, along with the man wielding it.
And at the same time, he slashed with his sword towards the spearman's neck.
SLASH!
Thud!
The Spearman's head rolled into the ground, his eyes still filled with pure fear.
PIERCE!
Though, unfortunately, as resilient as the man was, he couldn't possibly survive getting pierced in the chest.
Thud!
His body fell to the ground. The man was already dead.
Back into the real world
Eldrin , who was staring at the void, finally moved.
He then went outside with an axe, probably to cut some wood for his fireplace, and continued his day as if nothing had happened.
Perhaps it might not be the first time this has happened.
Somewhere in deep space, inside a specialised interstellar spaceship called a sanctuary.
There was a tall purple humanoid male sitting on a throne wearing ancient armour. It was Thanos.
His gaze was tired yet resolute as if he was carrying a burden too heavy.
Then a slender humanoid alien with grey skin and a big nose walked in and said, while kneeling
Loki of Asgard has failed in stealing the tesseract, my lord.
Thanos signed in spiritual exhaustion when he heard that, but then his gaze turned resolute, and he said.
Fine, I'll do it myself.
Back on Earth, inside the biggest military base.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Heavy metallic footsteps could be heard, their source was more than 1000 2.70 meter tall Armoured giants.
A Spartan watching those formidable figures said in awe.
Astartes!
Yes, you heard that correctly, those were not custodians but Astartes; they could be considered an inferior form of Custodians, though still formidable in their own right.
Half a year ago, some of the Custodians, due to the Vibranium's coated skeleton's mutagenic radiation, underwent mutations and gained abilities of all kinds.
Naturally, that gave Erskine an idea: what if they created multiple factions of inferior custodians with the genes and abilities of the mutated custodians?
Let's take one of the custodians, for example, when he mutated, he gained wolf-like abilities like fangs, claws, superior senses, and immense stamina.
What if we created hundreds of thousands of warriors with the same abilities?
Each faction will have a different mutated custodian as its leader, and the first that was created was The Vlka Fenryka.
The transformation to an Astartes was a bit different from that of a custodian.
First, they evolved to High humans, which was the common requirement.
Then they were injected with several serums that enhanced bone density, muscle mass, and metabolism, making them elite High Humans.
Then, most importantly, they got injected with their mutated custodians' genes, giving them their abilities.
After that, they got an implant, which was the neural interference implant called The Black Carapace that allowed them to connect with their armour.
Note: Unlike Astartes in the Warhammer universe, who cannot reproduce naturally, MCU Astartes can.
Now back into the present.
The 1000 Astartes marched towards a spacebus.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
They stopped right in front of SpaceBus, the leading Astartes, then said in a deep voice to the AI piloting it.
Takes us to Mars Sector 2, direct order from the general.
The spacebus gate opened, and Astartes entered.
The gate of the spacebus closed, and with propulsion engines activated, the spacebus ascended, heading to Mars.
On Mars, there was a gigantic futuristic city inside a dome. It was one of the two cities that were built on Mars, with many more being constructed.
It was fairly large, spanning around 700 kilometers in length, and was expanding.
In about 20 days from now, it will be open to all the citizens of the human empire, allowing them to travel and reside there if they wish.
Naturally, it will be quite expensive to move there for an ordinary citizen, but not impossible.
Along with the cities on mars Civilian grade spaceships will also be available for purchase.
Although more expensive than a sports car, they will still be within the price range of even the poorest. Thanks to the dramatically improved economy of the human empire.
15 million miles away in deep space was a fleet travelling at immense speed towards Mars.
On the dark side of the moon in the hidden city of Attilan, there was a man standing on a throne, his gaze complicated.
He had sent a few men to negotiate with the humans; he could not ignore their existence any longer.
I always thought we inhumans were superior; it was not arrogance but a fact.
Or at least that's what I thought, but I couldn't be more wrong.
Because in a mere 59 years, the previously divided humans who were too busy fighting each other for pointless reasons were now fully united, rapidly advancing their technological might to terrifying levels. though black bolt
What could be the cause of this?
