The God of Destruction's realm exists outside the jurisdiction of all Kais. Only a handful of divine beings know how to reach it. And even if I did know… no one would dare wake Lord Beerus unless they want to be destroyed."
His tone turned very serious at the end, hoping Broly understood the danger.
"So in other words, you've said a lot but told me nothing." Broly frowned. "You don't know where Majin Buu is sealed, and you don't know where Beerus is either. You 'gods' sure know a lot… except when it actually matters."
King Kai smiled awkwardly, rubbing his head.
"You asked who the strongest were, not where to find them…" he muttered.
Then he leaned closer and warned, "Also… if you ever meet Lord Beerus, hide your Treasure Pot. Beerus loves gourmet food. If he sees that pot, he'll absolutely take it. And he won't ask nicely."
"If he wants it, he can try taking it," Broly replied calmly, a spark of battle-lust in his eyes.
King Kai sighed. This guy doesn't fear anything…
After thinking for a while, King Kai suddenly snapped his fingers. "If you want someone to spar with… I might have a recommendation."
Broly's eyes sharpened. "Who?"
"His name is Merus. He's part of the Galactic Patrol. A real elite. His abilities are extraordinary. He's solved many impossible missions without killing a single opponent."
"Merus…" Broly repeated the name.
"He's at the Galactic Patrol Headquarters right now. If you fly there at your current speed, it should take about twenty minutes."
Broly's lips curled into a grin. "Perfect."
"But don't go overboard!" King Kai hurriedly added. "He's one of the good guys! Don't accidentally kill him!"
Broly didn't respond. A golden aura burst around him—not a transformation, just raw energy coiling around his body like lightning.
"I'm going now."
"Going to see Merus already?" asked Son Goku.
Broly nodded. "I'll probably return to Earth afterwards."
"Good luck!" Goku grinned. "Beat that Merus guy!"
Broly gave a small smile. "You focus on Vegeta and Nappa."
Then he shot skyward in a flash of gold and vanished into space.
Arrival at the Galactic Patrol
The Galactic Patrol Headquarters floated among nebulae—an enormous silver station encircled by rotating rings.
Inside one of its observation rooms, Merus stood quietly, looking out into the stars. His blue uniform, white gloves, and silver hair gave him an elegant, almost serene presence.
He suddenly paused, eyes narrowing.
A powerful energy… approaching fast…
A golden light streaked across the stars.
Merus smiled faintly. "He finally came."
Broly soon arrived at the station and landed on an external platform.
Two Galactic Patrol officers, Jaco and Irikku, immediately raised their weapons.
"Who are you? State your purpose!"
"I'm Broly," he answered. "I'm here to see Merus."
At that moment, a calm voice called out:
"Lower your weapons."
Merus walked onto the platform.
Jaco nearly dropped his gun in relief. "Oh thank goodness it's you!"
Merus stepped forward, standing a few meters away from Broly. He gave a polite nod and said:
"I am Merus."
Broly's eyes sharpened.
