The news spread through the royal city like wildfire.
Inside the palace, messengers hurried back and forth through the corridors, their footsteps echoing across the marble floors.
What had happened during the battle earlier had already shaken the entire kingdom.
For ordinary citizens, it was nothing more than distant rumors.
But for the people within the palace—
it was a storm.
A group of officials gathered anxiously in the council chamber.
Everyone had the same expression.
Shock.
Disbelief.
And deep fear.
"Is the information confirmed?" one minister asked with a trembling voice.
The messenger nodded quickly.
"Yes, Your Excellency."
"The Marines have already confirmed it."
Silence filled the chamber.
Moments later, someone whispered:
"An admiral…"
Another official clenched his fists.
"And White Fang fought him head-on."
The room erupted in discussion.
No one expected the situation to escalate so quickly.
The battle between the two monsters had already destroyed half the palace courtyard.
And yet—
the outcome remained uncertain.
Meanwhile, inside the royal palace.
Ryan sat calmly on the throne.
His expression remained indifferent, as if the chaos outside had nothing to do with him.
A subordinate knelt before him.
"Your Majesty."
"The intelligence from the battlefield has arrived."
Ryan raised his hand slightly.
"Speak."
The man lowered his head.
"The Marine admiral… has appeared."
"He is fighting White Fang."
Ryan's eyes narrowed slightly.
But he did not look surprised.
"Continue."
"The battle is extremely intense."
"Both sides are using terrifying power."
"Even the Marines present cannot interfere."
Ryan leaned back against the throne.
"So it has begun."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
Outside the palace, panic continued to spread.
Witnesses described the battle in exaggerated terms.
Some said beams of light tore through the sky like lightning.
Others claimed the ground shook as if the entire island would collapse.
Regardless of the details—
everyone agreed on one thing.
The battle between White Fang and the Marine admiral had reached a level far beyond ordinary combat.
Even veteran soldiers could barely follow their movements.
Inside the palace, the atmosphere remained tense.
A tall man dressed in black suddenly stepped forward.
He knelt on one knee before Ryan.
"Your Majesty."
Ryan looked down at him.
"What is it?"
The man spoke with absolute respect.
"The Dark Division stands ready."
"As long as Your Majesty gives the order—"
"We will move immediately."
Ryan stared at him silently for a moment.
Then he shook his head.
"Not yet."
The man lowered his head.
"As you command."
Ryan looked toward the distant horizon beyond the palace windows.
A faint golden glow flickered in the sky.
Even from this distance, the battle's energy could still be felt.
Ryan murmured quietly:
"This fight…"
"…will determine the future."
At that moment—
a loud explosion echoed from the direction of the battlefield.
Even the palace walls trembled slightly.
Several ministers gasped in shock.
Ryan remained calm.
He slowly stood up from the throne.
"Prepare the next phase."
The kneeling man immediately replied:
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
He stood up and saluted.
Then he said firmly:
"Your Majesty's will…"
"…is the direction of the Dark Division."
Ryan said nothing more.
But the faint smile on his face revealed everything.
Outside—
the battle between monsters continued.
And the storm surrounding the kingdom had only just begun.
