Suite Apartment - The next day
Because of the chaos, the kids were sent to Lona's place.
I bought some coffee as Jonathan, Daniel, Vance and John were seated quietly.
"Are you all still thinking about what he said?"
"Huh?" Vance said.
"About Jonathan's mother not claiming the inheritance and giving him a better life,"
I saw Jonathan was studying the document Alex's lawyer gave.
As much as I or anyone wanted to deny, it did not make any sense.
She was the only surviving River member.
Her son was the only future heir.
She could have inherited the wealth, and given Jonathan a luxurious life.
