Veronica went from college boyfriend-girlfriend to husband and wife with Jonathan Rollings. They got married and on Jonathan’s request, kept their marriage a secret. He even gave her a silver band saying one day he would change it to a diamond ring.

The sun was shining through the curtains so I got up and pulled them closer as Veronica was still sleeping.


I got up, freshened myself and went to the kitchen.


As I was making eggs, Janet came along.


"Good morning honey," I said as I was scrambling the eggs.


"Could you wake Joshua?" I said. "Today's his admission at your school."


"And mommy?" She said looking towards our room.


"She's tired," I said as I placed the plates on the table. "Let her rest."


"Okay," she said. "I'll get him ready."


"I'll leave a note for mommy and we can go,"


I went back to our room and left a note telling me I was taking Joshua for his admission and then would head over to the office.


After making sure everything was fine, I took Janet and Joshua and went over to Janet's school.

"Mr. Jonathan?!" the principal said, shocked on seeing me.
