Chapter 68 - Chapter 68: Arohi’s Royal Return and Sushila’s Infernal Agony

The royal drums resounded at the main gate of the Junagarh palace. After ten days, Arohi and Aditya stepped back onto the palace grounds. Prafulla and Snigdha welcomed them at the gate. Looking at everyone's faces, Aditya sensed that something major had gone wrong. However, to keep the matter of Rupanjan a secret, Snigdha had already made Prafulla swear an oath—so that their parents wouldn't find out that the Princess had given her heart to an ordinary youth. When Aditya and Arohi heard that Sushila had escaped from prison and kidnapped Prabhasha, the pupils of Arohi's eyes fixed in a state of absolute rage.

Arohi did not wait another moment. Sending Aditya into the palace, she went straight to the dark underground prison. There, she saw the traitorous guard imprisoned in the cage next to Sushila's. Upon seeing Arohi, Sushila snarled and bared her teeth against the prison bars, "You've returned, you venomous serpent? I cannot stand the sight of you! Why don't you just die? Seeing you makes my skin crawl!"

Arohi roared back, "Silence, demoness! I cannot tolerate you for even a second. If I have to kill you and die myself, I am ready for it. How dare you lay your eyes on my Prabhasha? I want to kick you out of this palace, but my true purpose is to give you the agonies of hell."

Suddenly, Sushila spat a glob of phlegm directly onto Arohi's face through the bars—'Spat!' Then, laughing demonically, she said, "I spat on your face! She is my own flesh and blood, that is why I went to rescue her. If she were your daughter, I wouldn't have even looked in that direction!"

Insulted by the spit, Arohi lost her composure. She screamed, "Guard! Open the lock! I will see the end of this devil today!" The guards, trembling with fear, opened the lock. Wiping her face, Arohi entered the cage with the speed of lightning. A horrific struggle began. The two women began pulling each other by the hair. Arohi was slamming Sushila's head against the bars, while Sushila tried to scratch her. Eventually, both collapsed, breathless and exhausted.

At that moment, Prafulla entered. He was stunned by the scene! Pulling Arohi away, Prafulla said, "Ma! What are you doing? Why are you dirtying your hands by fighting this devil? Don't lower yourself to her level, Ma!"

Sushila, lying on the floor, still spewed venom, "Listen Prafulla, you are a total elephant! If I could hang an elephant like you upside down from a tree branch by your legs, only then would the fire in my heart be quenched!"

Arohi shrieked, "Prafulla, she spat on my face! I will not let her go like this. Since she loves spit and filth so much, she shall be kept in that very filth. Guard! Bring a scavenger cow into the cell! This devilish woman and that traitorous guard will have to live with that cow!"

A short while later, the guards brought a massive horned cow and pushed it into Sushila's cage. As soon as the cow entered, it lifted its tail and began to urinate and defecate everywhere. A foul stench and piles of dung accumulated inside the cage. Sushila and the guard cowered in a corner, covering their noses. Vomiting in disgust, Sushila cried, "Oh God! What a hideous smell! How can I live with a cow in a toilet? Look, the cow is charging with its horns again! Arohi, get me out of here! I will die in this filth!"

Arohi stood outside the cell with a satisfied smile. She said, "How does it feel, Sushila? Since you are filthy in your mind, you shall now spend all day and night amidst that dung and urine. When that cow defecates on you, then you will understand the consequence of spitting on Arohi's face!"

The combination of Sushila's screams and the cow's lowing created a horrific sound within the prison. Arohi, holding Prafulla's hand, climbed back up, leaving behind Sushila's wretched life in hell. In the Junagarh palace today, justice saw a different kind of victory.
