Chapter 9 review :A clap rang through the air, it was Jimmy "Bravo!, my new technique was formed because of your foolish attacks, you should be proud to contribute this before you die", Jimmy said smirking at his new creation shadow manipulation : shadow slash.
The goblin knees buckled hard and it knelt on the floor, blood was gushing freely from the wound and from it's mouth.
"Shkkkkk!", the goblin was cleanly cut in half diagonally by Jimmy Swift sword strike as the battle ended.
Chapter 10:
Jimmy looked at the fallen goblin and he whispered "You tried but you are just weak".
And he went forward into the tunnel and Jimmy, Jessica and Charlie met in front of a giant gate.
"This is very creepy mana that I am sensing", Charlie said.
".....", nobody said anything and Jimmy calmly reach out to the giant handle door and he pushed slightly.
"Creeekkk, the sound of a rusty door being opened resounded throughout the dungeon and they saw a giant goblin with light armour and a spiked club in one hand and a cold iron axe in the other hand
Jimmy eyes locked on the goblin and he saw another door behind the goblin sealed shut.
"This thing is a sub - boss?", Jimmy said, surprised.
"A sub - boss?!", both Jessica and Charlie said simultaneously.
"Shreek!!!, the sub - boss shouts and it resounded in the dungeon walls shaking violently, but Jimmy eyes stayed locked on it cold and calculating.
Charlie charged towards the sub - boss and Jessica joined shortly after but Jimmy stood thinking deeply.
As Charlie jumped into the air sword drawn and he imbued it with fire energy, the sword was blazing.
The sub - boss looked at Charlie and grinned wildly and the sub boss band's grip on the iron axe tightened, ready to swing.
The iron axe whistled through the air in course to meet it's target then sparks flew everywhere as blade meets axe, but the force of the axe sent Charlie flying back and he crashed into a wall.
"How can a sub boss b.. be this strong?", Charlie said his voice hoarse still recovering from the impact of the blow.
"Shadow step", Jimmy said making sure his voice is has quite as can be.
The he vanished from the entrance to the sub boss battle chamber and he reappeared behind the boss, then he unsheaths his blade and imbued it with shadow energy.
"Shkkk, blade meet flesh and green blood spurts out of the sub boss wound, Jimmy had slashed it's knee reducing its mobility.
" Shrieeeeekkk!, the sub boos screamed in agony and turned back and slammed it's spiked club and slammed it into the ground.
" Booom!, the spiked club was imbedden into the ground and it formed a crator.
"Fool human is dead, the sub boss said with a sneer but when it lifted its spiked club nothing was in the crator there was blood but in a small amount.
Jimmy appeared in the air, he had imbued his legs with shadow energy making him to move faster and making his movements look like a blur but he reacted a bit late the spikes pierced his arm and sliced his cheek.
Jimmy's hands gripped his blade tightly which is still imbued with shadow energy, his eyes flash a cold glint and he shouted " Rain of shadow thrusts!", then he thrusts rapidly at the sub boss.
"Shkkkk, Jimmy thrust the sub boss left eye green blood spurts everywhere, the sub boss throws its weapons and he uses one hand to clutch his injured eye, Jimmy is mid air vulnerable.
" shreeeeekkkk!, The sun boss shouted so loud that the entire chamber trembled, the goblins skin grew red with black lines.
" Is the sub boss in berserk mode? ", Jimmy thinks worried, the sub boss raised its fist, green blood running down it's left eye.
"Booooomm!, Jimmy was sent flying back to the ground and he crashed into the wall.
" Spurts, Jimmy coughed blood on the ground and he thinks "This sub boss I'd insane before he was 6x stronger than a normal goblin now he is 10x stronger", and he tries to stand up and he fell back down.
"gasp..... 2 ribs broken and 2 bruised heavily, this sub boss is strong even all of us combined might not be enough to defeat that thing.
Jessica who was hiding behind the scenes jumped into the air her sword raised high and she shouted" Wind cyclone typhoon " and a tornado of wind energy formed and rushed at the sub boss.
" Is she crazy!, using such a high energy costing technique how do know that it would deal much damage ", Jimmy said out loud.
" Booom!, an explosion of wind energy formed a giant shock wave of wind, the sub boss appeared from the wind only small slashes were on its skin blood was just slipping from the wound the slashes were shallow.
"How did it deal such low damage?", Jessica said her pupils were shaking with fear she had used all of her wind energy she can't even imbue her sword with wind energy.
The sub boss stepped closer to Jessica it has picked up its iron axe and raised it high, the axe came down with speed towards Jessica who was trembling with fear, she can't even dodge if she wanted to.
"whoosh, someone tackled Jessica away making her dodge the attack it was Charlie and he had a deep slash on his side, he had taken some of the hit for her, he put his hand on his side to slow bleeding as much as he can.
Jimmy tried to stand but failed to again and he fell back down and he thinks "I can't use shadow slash now my mana is low and even if I use it I will need to charge it up I use most of my shadow energy in the fight with the goblins but it's now or never" and Jimmy raised his middle and index finger and pointed it at the sub boss shadow energy was charging up.
The sub boss had a very annoyed face and walked slowly towards Charlie and Jessica Charlie was heavily injured and is staying between Jessica and the sub boss who was getting closer and it raised its axe and brought it down at great speed.
"Shkkkk, Mid swing the sub boss arm was slashed with a shadow slash from Jimmy and green blood was gushing out it wasn't very deep but not very shallow and it didn't cut cleanly, the sub boss arm was redirected to a wall and it slammed into the wall, a loose boulder which was loose from all the shrieeks from the sub boss that shook the chamber earlier and the boulder came falling down and slammed onto the sub boss head, green blood slides slowly.
"Charlie, stop playing romeo and fight by your own before you kill yourself", Jimmy said voice cold because he knew if not for his interruption with shadow slash Charlie might have died for Jessica.
