Chapter 8 review :But the pressure in the dungeon pressed down on the three of them the air was noticeably thicker than outside and all of them felt like a pair of monster eyes were always on them.
Then 5 goblins burst out with 2 bone dagger in eash hand from nowhere and attacked the trio.
Jimmy dodged an attack easily and slashed the goblin throat and his head turned and cut another goblin's hand easily and Jessica and Charlie finished off the remaining goblins.
Chapter 9 :
The carsass of the goblins were very visible on the ground but all of them felt uneasy, The dungeon was too easy for an f - rank dungeon.
"Is It me, or this dungeon already feels too easy?", Charlie said.
Both Jimmy and Jessica nodded slowly eyes cautious looking forward to continue the journey.
All three of them continue the journey and saw there was three tunnels in three different directions.
" Let's split to the three directions each tunnel for one person", Jessica said, clearly wanting to walk on her own.
"Okay", both Jimmy and Charlie said in unison.
Jimmy went to the centre tunnel eyes scanning the tunnel warryly and ten goblins burst out but two goblins stood at the back.
"They are pretty weak individually but together they might be a problem but no worry you all will die just as quickly as you came", Jimmy thinks amused.
Two goblins flank him and 2 was at his front and two at his right side and two at his left side, completely surrounding him a basic tactic of the goblins.
" Shhk!" , the sound of an unsheathed blade resounding in the tunnel and the fight started without hesitation.
A goblin rushed with daggers in both of it's hands and he struck towards Jimmy and he dodged by side - stepping easily and slashed the goblins arm off and kicked it back hard.
"Shrrrkkkk!!", the goblin shouted clutching it's shoulder where his arm was supposed to be, the goblin rushed back to Jimmy.
"You've got a death wish", Jimmy said and he strikes his blade and it cut the goblin head off.
"Who's next?", Jimmy said looking like the grim reaper incarnate.
Jimmy instantly killed the remaining goblins with ease some he didn't have to look to kill them.
"I have analysed your body and attack patterns and I know all of your weak points with my perception it will be easy to kill you little monsters", Jimmy said looking at the two remaining goblins at the back.
The two goblins looked at each other and they both brought out something from their pouch and they consumed it.
The two goblins breath in heavily and breathed out a stream of fire blasts toward Jimmy.
"Booomm!!", the blast exploded, and when the smoke settled completely there was no one standing only the small crator made by the explosion.
" Did human die?", one of the goblins said in broken English as both of them celebrated the death of the human the killed their allies.
"Aren't you celebrating way too early?", Jimmy said behind one of the goblins.
The flash of a blade was the only thing one of the goblin saw before it's head was cut off and flew far away in the tunnel.
The other goblin jumped back trying to keep distance.
"Thanks to my perception I saw the trajectory of the blast and evaded the blast with shadow step", Jimmy think in his mind his face as calm as always.
"But my right arm was slightly burnt with part of my uniform because I reacted a second late when activating shadow step ", Jimmy thinks again, and went into his stance.
Jimmy ran like a blur to the other goblin, the goblin raised its dagger and blocked the attack head on and was sent skidding back for 2 metres, The goblin was too stubborn to just die without landing a atlest a hit on the human.
The goblin landed a flurry of furious attacks wishing it could atlest land one attack but Jimmy dodged it the weirdest thing is that he didn't attack back but his eyes looked at the trajectory and every slightest detail of every swing the goblin makes.
"Is human toying with me?", the goblin said.
"So you baffons can talk?, I admit you are smarter than those mindless ones but you will still die either way".
The goblin was furious and shouted "Human can only dodge can't human attack!"
"Great, you have lost your importance to me", shadow slash", Jimmy said.
Shadow energy formed into energy blades in the blink of an eye and attacked the goblin
"Slashhhh!", a deep cut was made from the goblins right shoulder to left torso and green blood was gushing out.
A clap rang through the air, it was Jimmy "Bravo!, my new technique was formed because of your foolish attacks, you should be proud to contribute this before you die", Jimmy said smirking at his new creation shadow manipulation : shadow slash.
The goblin knees buckled hard and it knelt on the floor, blood was gushing freely from the wound and from it's mouth.
"Shkkkkk!", the goblin was cleanly cut in half diagonally by Jimmy Swift sword strike as the battle ended.
