Among the six competitors from Uagadou, one of them quickly became the subject of discussion among the Hogwarts students. Sean's attention was also drawn to him.
He was a massive man.
Just how massive? He was only about half a head shorter than Hagrid. Standing well over two meters tall, he immediately made people think of giant blood.
"He's probably a half-giant like Hagrid," Cassius said as he craned his neck to look at the Uagadou team.
"I think so too," Sean replied.
Sean activated his Magic vision and examined the magical power of the six Uagadou competitors.
The half-giant's magical aura shone even brighter than Charlie's.
The others were fairly ordinary.
So Uagadou actually has a half-giant… I wonder if the other two teams have something just as unfair, Sean thought.
He seemed to forget that the most unfair existence in Hogwarts was standing right there—himself.
A half-giant's bloodline granted higher resistance to magic.
In the team battle, Uagadou would likely use him as a tank.
There was a high chance Sean would face him in the final event.
However, Sean's magical power was now second only to Charlie among the Hogwarts representatives.
As for advanced spells, Sean might actually know more.
And once his "container" expanded again in a few months, he would become Hogwarts' hidden trump card.
"What's so interesting about that big dark guy? If you want something worth looking at, go check out Ilvermorny's team."
Fred suddenly appeared behind them.
"There are pretty girls."
Cassius had never really interacted with the Weasley twins before, but the moment the three of them exchanged glances, it was as if they silently understood each other.
"Are there really pretty girls?" Cassius asked excitedly.
Chris shot him a look of disgust and muttered under her breath, "Shameless."
"The professor leading Ilvermorny is a beauty," Fred said with a mischievous grin. "Want to take a look?"
In front of beauty, house rivalry meant nothing.
"Professor McGonagall told me to warn you two not to wander around Ilvermorny's guest quarters. Don't embarrass Hogwarts."
The voice came with obvious displeasure.
If it had been anyone else, the twins would have immediately argued back.
But the speaker was their brother—Percy Weasley.
"We're just looking. It's not like we're going to bother them," George said casually.
Just then, Charlie walked over and smacked both of them lightly on the head.
"You two behave yourselves. There's someone in Ilvermorny's team with a temper—a Daywalker. If you provoke him, it'll cause trouble."
"Daywalker?" Sean had heard the term before, though he wasn't sure if it meant the same thing Charlie meant.
Charlie glanced at Sean and nodded.
"Yes. I came over specifically to tell you about it."
"Daywalker… you mean a half-vampire?" Sean asked hesitantly.
"You actually know that?" Charlie said, impressed. "Professor McGonagall just confirmed that one of Ilvermorny's competitors named Clavin is a Daywalker. He even asked her for a bottle of fresh deer blood."
Everyone present looked shocked.
Vampires were even rarer than werewolves.
They lived in secrecy and usually only emerged after nightfall because they feared sunlight.
Vampires fed on both animal and human blood. They were agile, and their magical talent often surpassed that of ordinary wizards.
Daywalkers were the offspring of vampires and humans.
They weren't afraid of sunlight, which was why they were called Daywalkers.
However, as half-vampires, their physical abilities were weaker than those of true vampires—though still stronger than ordinary humans.
What they truly inherited was the vampire's magical talent.
This Clavin would undoubtedly be a troublesome opponent.
A black tank and a pale assassin, Sean thought helplessly. At this rate, nothing the third team brings will surprise me.
The half-giant possessed thick skin, immense magical power, and natural resistance to magic.
The Daywalker would have superior speed, casting precision, and reaction time.
If those two weren't the trump cards of Uagadou and Ilvermorny, Sean would happily jump off the Astronomy Tower.
"Before tonight's banquet begins, the six of us need to gather in the Great Hall half an hour early," Charlie said.
"Do you know why?" someone asked.
"I'm not sure. Professor McGonagall just informed me. We'll find out when we get there."
Sean nodded.
He guessed it was probably to let the competitors meet one another beforehand.
Castelobruxo arrived at Hogwarts around four in the afternoon.
Apparently, they had taken a Muggle airplane from Brazil to Britain, but their flight had been delayed.
"We wanted the students to experience Muggle transportation," their leading professor explained apologetically. "Unfortunately, it delayed us."
The person welcoming them was Hogwarts' famously blunt professor—Severus Snape.
Snape's expressionless face remained as calm as ever.
"Welcome," he said flatly.
As a Slytherin student and a member of the Hogwarts team, Sean stood behind Snape.
"Professor," Sean whispered quietly, "you should sound a little more enthusiastic."
Snape shot him a glare that clearly said, Do I need lessons from you?
Sean gave an awkward smile and shrugged helplessly.
"Grylls," Snape said, "take the guests to their rooms."
Normally, having a second-year student escort important guests might seem disrespectful.
But since Snape had spoken, Sean had no choice but to comply—unless he wanted another death glare.
"This way, please," Sean said with a polite smile, acting as their guide.
Each visiting team had been assigned four guest rooms.
One for the leading professor.
The other three were divided between male and female competitors.
Castelobruxo had one male professor, four male students, and two female students—perfect for two people per room.
Sean quietly scanned the six students using his Magic vision.
None of them stood out in terms of magical power.
He also didn't see any sign of Castelobruxo's famous twin-core wands.
"Please rest for now," Sean said. "Someone will come to escort you to the Great Hall shortly."
"Thank you," the leading professor replied.
Before the banquet began, the six Hogwarts representatives were summoned to the Great Hall early.
Dumbledore was already there, speaking with a grey-haired man in a perfectly tailored suit.
"You've arrived," Dumbledore said warmly as the six students entered.
He gestured for them to come closer.
"This is the Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation—Barty Crouch."
Sean studied the man.
This was Chris's grandfather.
And the father of Barty Crouch Jr.
Crouch's sharp gaze swept across the six students briefly.
"Who is Sean Grylls?" he asked.
"That would be me, sir," Sean replied.
Crouch looked at Sean for a moment without speaking.
Then he simply nodded and returned to his conversation with Dumbledore.
Sean was baffled.
What was that about? Trying to look mysterious?
Just then, the other three teams entered the Great Hall.
At the staff table, Professor Morisse glanced casually toward Ilvermorny's leading professor.
His expression suddenly froze.
It was as if he had just seen something shocking.
