Chapter 71 - Uchiha Brat, One Day I’ll Kill You With My Own Hands

"Uchiha brat!"

The Tsunade who once shook the entire ninja world now lay sprawled across the ground like a jade statue shattered by a storm.

All the strength in her body seemed drained. Every breath pulled at aching pain.

She tried to push herself up with her arms, but the effort only made her posture more miserable, nearly collapsing again.

In the end, she could only lie weakly on her side, her graceful figure bent like a small boat about to capsize in violent waves.

Large tears rolled from the corners of the woman's tightly shut eyes, sliding across skin pale as paper before gathering at her chin and dripping down.

"Remember this well!"

"One day… I'll kill you with my own hands!"

Tsunade suddenly raised her head.

Her damp golden hair clung to her forehead and cheeks, strands sticking to the tear-soaked corners of her eyes.

That beautiful face—sometimes lazy, sometimes wild, sometimes dignified—was now soaked with tears.

The tip of her nose was red, her lips bitten hard enough to leave faint blood marks.

She looked utterly disheveled.

Yet her bright brown eyes, even swimming in tears, still shone with terrifying intensity.

The hatred within them burned fiercely, nailed unblinkingly onto Uchiha Anlan standing behind her.

The famed "big sheep" of the gambling halls—possessing overwhelming beauty—looked heartbreakingly pitiful in this state, like a pear blossom soaked in rain.

"I told you," Anlan said lazily as he walked over.

"You really never learn."

Looking down at the woman lying at his feet and glaring up at him, he casually grabbed a handful of her golden hair.

"See?"

"You're going to suffer again."

Crack.

With a sharp sound, he dislocated her jaw.

Watching Tsunade's humiliated yet forced endurance, Anlan spoke leisurely.

"Before you kill me, you'd better make sure you stay alive."

"After all, if you die…"

"Shizune will have to bear the 'pressure' for you."

"Tsunade-senpai… you wouldn't want Shizune to go through something like that, would you?"

"And besides, you should thank me."

"Isn't your hemophobia cured now?"

"Hahahahaha!"

"¥#(&)…"

With her mouth restrained, Tsunade tried to speak, her words muffled and unclear.

Clearly, none of them were pleasant.

Under constant pressure, Anlan's Kyōka Suigetsu continued to invade Tsunade's mental world, gradually stamping its influence onto her consciousness.

For revenge, she had to live.

For Shizune, she had to endure humiliation.

Everything else, Anlan deliberately left untouched.

A Tsunade who retained her will was far more entertaining than a puppet.

Besides, her usefulness—and her flawless physique—were worth a little patience.

After his temper cooled, Anlan calmly straightened his clothes.

Then he casually tossed his coat over Tsunade.

"If you don't want Shizune to see what happened here," he said flatly,

"then behave yourself."

His fingers formed a brief hand seal.

Clack.

The heavy chains binding Tsunade's limbs opened.

Only two dark iron rings remained locked around her ankles.

Sealing patterns shimmered faintly across them, suppressing her chakra.

Tsunade immediately sensed the change within her body.

About half of her chakra was sealed.

But the immense reserve stored within the Strength of a Hundred Seal on her forehead—vast like a tailed beast's chakra—remained quietly dormant.

With a single thought, she could shatter the fragile seal and unleash her full power.

Killing intent flared in her eyes like ghostly fire in darkness.

Her muscles tensed instantly.

Her fingers trembled slightly, as if preparing hand seals.

"If I were you," Anlan's voice said coolly,

"I'd think carefully before making a move."

The words fell like ice water.

Tsunade clutched his coat tightly as his venomous voice continued.

"If you fail…"

He paused deliberately.

Leaving countless dreadful possibilities hanging in the air.

"Then your cute little disciple Shizune…"

"Will get to experience what real suffering means."

"Of course," he added casually,

"I wouldn't mind if both of you joined together."

"That might be even more interesting."

"You monster… do you have no humanity at all?!"

Grinding her teeth, Tsunade glared at him.

The diamond mark of the Strength of a Hundred Seal pulsed faintly with heat, yet under her iron restraint it gradually fell silent.

Having power yet being strangled by a weakness—

The feeling was even more suffocating than powerlessness.

For a moment, Tsunade felt as if she would never escape the grasp of this evil Uchiha.

As if she would forever be toyed with until she sank into the abyss of his control.

"Humanity?" Anlan snorted.

"Give me a break."

"How much 'humanity' have you seen in the gambling halls?"

"And how much humanity do you think you have?"

"Don't stand on some moral high ground spouting righteous nonsense."

"During the Ninja Wars, how many dirty things did Konoha do?"

"What role did you play in them?"

"Now Konoha is surrounded by enemies on all sides."

"And what are you doing right now?"

"Where's your humanity?"

"We're all scum crawling out of the mud."

"When we die, we're all going straight to hell."

"So stop pretending to be a good person."

The barrage of words left Tsunade's expression complicated and speechless.

The final sentence especially made her heart tremble.

She lowered her head.

All stray thoughts were crushed ruthlessly.

The confusion and weakness in her eyes were replaced by cold determination.

I have to stay calm.

I can't let my mind wander.

There will be a chance.

Find an opportunity. Take Shizune. Escape back to Konoha.

And expose the Uchiha clan's conspiracy.

Tsunade quickly put on the coat, covering her disheveled body.

"Come with me."

Seeing she was dressed, Anlan turned and walked toward the exit.

Tsunade pressed her lips together.

While following him, she quietly used medical ninjutsu to heal her body.

As she passed the corpse still writhing in the corner, a cold light flashed in her eyes.

Her fingers flicked slightly.

No hand seals.

No visible chakra.

Just a burst of compressed force.

Pop.

The corpse's grotesque head exploded like a watermelon struck by a hammer.

Dark fluid and gray brain matter splattered across the floor.

The twisted body stiffened instantly, collapsing lifeless.

The action was faster than lightning.

Anlan, walking ahead, seemed to pause slightly.

Or perhaps he didn't.

Tsunade's expression remained unchanged.

She didn't even glance back.

Yet deep in her eyes flashed a trace of cold satisfaction.

If she couldn't strike the Uchiha—

At least she could vent her rage on the corpse.

The stone door slowly closed behind them.

Sealing the bloody chamber away.

After climbing the stairs, Uzumaki Minako appeared from a side corridor.

"Take her to the side courtyard," Anlan ordered.

"Let her wash up and change clothes."

"After that, let her rest."

"Yes, Lord Anlan."

Without another word, Anlan walked away.

His footsteps gradually faded.

Only the two women remained.

Minako lifted her eyes.

Her gaze fell on Tsunade.

She wore Anlan's coat, her expression filled with complicated sorrow.

A Senju descendant…

Aren't they supposed to fall like this?

Why should the Uzumaki clan scatter across the world, dying and wandering…

while the Senju descendant lived in glory?

Was that fair?

No.

"My name is Uzumaki Minako," she said calmly.

"Please follow me, Tsunade… Madam."

The title made Tsunade's eyes widen.

Humiliation surged through her.

"I have nothing to do with that Uchiha!"

Her voice sharpened with agitation.

"Not now. Not ever!"

But wearing his coat and looking thoroughly "favored," the denial sounded weak.

Minako merely smiled.

"I understand, Miss Tsunade."

"…Good."

Biting her lip until it bled, Tsunade forced herself to calm down.

She followed silently.

After a short walk, she finally asked:

"Shizune… my disciple."

"How is she?"

"Miss Shizune is resting. She is unharmed."

Relief loosened Tsunade's chest slightly.

Then she asked another question.

"You're from the Uzumaki clan."

"Why follow an Uchiha?"

Minako answered calmly.

"The Land of Whirlpools no longer exists."

"And now I follow Lord Anlan."

"Is there a problem with that?"

Tsunade opened her mouth—

But no words came.

Anlan's earlier words echoed in her mind.

We're not good people.

Her back slowly slumped.

The fierce anger faded.

Only weary loneliness remained.

"Konoha…" Tsunade murmured hoarsely.

"You still have a clan member there."

"If you get the chance… visit her."

"Uzumaki Kushina?"

Minako's eyes flickered faintly.

"Konoha took her from the Land of Whirlpools."

"In hindsight… that was probably fortunate."

"At least one Uzumaki survived."

"Even if what Konoha needed was a jinchūriki."

"In this world…"

"Living peacefully without seeing your homeland burn…"

"Without wondering whether you'll starve today or die tomorrow…"

"Isn't that the greatest happiness?"

Tsunade fell silent again.

The words she wanted to say—about another Uzumaki in the Land of Rain—remained unspoken.

What would it change?

Nothing.

They exited through a quiet side gate into an open courtyard.

The sky was clear.

Stars glittered above the deep blue night.

Autumn had quietly arrived.

A cool breeze stirred fallen leaves.

Moonlight spilled across stone paths and silent houses.

Tsunade tightened Anlan's coat around herself.

Standing beneath the moonlight, breathing fresh air again, her eyes reddened.

Yesterday and today felt like heaven and hell.

Yet the pain in her body told her everything was real.

That despicable Uchiha had already crossed lines even Dan never had.

"Miss Tsunade, please wash up here."

Minako stopped at a wooden door.

"Tonight Lord Anlan will personally lead the Crimson Guard against Kirigakure."

"Dinner will be delivered later."

"Please rest after bathing."

She bowed politely.

"For your safety—and Miss Shizune's…"

"Please do not wander."

Minako turned and left.

Her footsteps faded down the corridor.

Shizune… wait for me.

Your teacher will save you.

Tsunade exhaled slowly.

Then stepped into the room.

Steam from the bath filled the air.

Hiding everything from sight.
