"This is just the pre-show, and we're already this busy... what will wait for us tomorrow, Kaminari?"
"Don't make me think about it, Mineta..."
"Mineta-kun! Kaminari-kun! Good job today!" Izuku and the others walked up to a tired Kaminari and Mineta.
"Listen up, young men," said Oro. "Two invites for the party are for you. Melissa got them for you!"
"Our hard work was rewarded!" Mineta and Kaminari exclaimed in unison as they hugged.
Oro burst out laughing. "Ah, youth... what a beautiful thing..."
"Don't talk like you're some old man!" Mato exclaimed. "You're not even in your 30s!"
"Anyway," said Oro. "This night's party's gonna be full of Pro Heroes, so make sure to dress elegantly. We'll meet at 6:30 PM at the entrance 7 of the main tower! Be on time, or you'll be Oro'd by me!"
"Got it," said Mato. "See ya."
"Hey, Hideki, wait, I'm coming with you!" Izuku exclaimed as he followed Mato. "See you at the party!"
"Hey, Deku-kun, Hideki-kun..." Melissa muttered. "Can you come with me somewhere first?"
"Uhm, sure," Mato said. "Let's go."
__________
"This is the Academy's campus, where I go," Melissa said. "And this is the laboratory I use."
Melissa opened the door. "Sorry for the disorder."
"My room is way messier than this..." Mato said.
"...and Okasan always has to clean it up for you," Izuku added.
"Shut up," Mato snorted.
"This place looks very professional," said Izuku. "I can't believe you work in such a place."
He eyed the trophies on the shelf. "Melissa-san, you're very talented."
"I had to work hard for that," Melissa said. "Because I wanted to become a Hero, but then we found out I was Quirkless."
"Quirkless?" Mato repeated.
"Yes. I was 5, and it still didn't manifest, so I gave up."
She is Quirkless, just like Izuku...
"Of course, I remained shocked, but I had someone's steps to follow. Papa's. He didn't have a Quirk that allowed him to be a Hero, but he helps Might-ojisama and the other Heroes with his technology."
Having a dad like hers must be a good feeling... pity I don't even have one.
"Here, I want you to give you these," Melissa extracted two strange red gadgets. "Take them."
Melissa wrapped the gadget around Mato's wrist and then pressed a button.
"Whoa!" Mato exclaimed as a red gauntlet appeared.
"If I had to give it a name," Melissa said as she wrapped the other gadget around Izuku's wrist. "I'd call them 'Full Gauntlets.'"
"Oh, cool..." Mato said. "Isn't this thing a bit too important for you?"
"That's why I want to give it to you!" Melissa said. "This Full Gauntlet is strong enough to bear Might-ojisama's strength 3 times! If you wear them, you might be able to use your full power."
"...Thanks, Melissa-chan," said Mato. "I'll make good use of this."
Suddenly, someone called Izuku on the phone.
"Hey," Izuku responded. "What do you-"
"You're totally late!" Iida's voice was heard on the other end of the phone.
"Holy shit!" Mato exclaimed. "We gotta hurry, Izuku!"
__________
"Sorry, we're late!" Izuku said as he and Mato entered the room.
"I'm definitely not cut out to dress elegantly..." Mato muttered. "This dress is so tight I can hardly breathe..."
"You look good, Shirakawa!" Oro exclaimed.
"You look awful in that elegant dress, instead," Mato said.
"...Holy sincerity."
"Where are the others?" Denki asked.
"They're not here yet," Iida responded. "I wonder what 'night with friends' means for them..."
Uraraka entered the room. She was wearing a pink dress. Shortly after, Yaoyorozu and Jiro entered too.
"So... only Young Kirishima and Young Bakugo are missing..." said Oro.
"Strange," said Mato. "The two you brought with you are late. What a coincidence."
"Shut up, Shirakawa! They said they weren't ready, so I came here before them! How could I have known they would be lost?!"
"Then at least call 'em!"
"I already tried!"
"Stop, you two!" Jiro exclaimed. "You look like a married couple!"
"Tch..." Mato snorted and crossed his arms.
"Oh, you're still here?" Melissa entered the room with a blue dress and high heels.
"Hi, Melissa-chan," said Mato. "You look... cute, dressed like that!"
"Oh, c'mon, you don't need to flatter me, Hideki-kun!" Melissa exclaimed.
"Shirakawa," Oro whispered in Mato's ear. "I'd like to remind you you've got a girlfriend."
"I know, I was just complimenting her outfit."
Suddenly, a voice.
"This is a message from I-Island's security system. We received a report from the security system that a bomb has been placed near the I-Expo. I-Island will now enter high-alert mode. Please, everyone, come back to your rooms. Almost every one of the main buildings will be sealed by the security system."
"Of course, I come here to relax, and something happens!" Oro exclaimed.
"So we're gonna explode..." Mato said. "Like this, boom!"
"Stop that, you're not helping!"
"They blocked every way to communicate, it seems..." said Shoto.
"The elevator isn't working either," said Jiro.
"It's crazy that the system shifted to high-alert mode only because of a bomb," said Melissa.
"Iida-kun, let's go where the party's taking place," said Izuku.
"Why?"
"Because All Might's there."
"If All Might's here, we mustn't worry..." said Mineta.
"Dude, I'm standing right here..." said Oro.
"Melissa-chan, can you bring us to the party somehow?" Mato asked.
"If we use the emergency stairs, we can get close," said Melissa.
"Lead the way."
__________
All Might was tied on the ground by the ropes the Villains had wrapped around him. Suddenly, he noticed Izuku's phone's flashlight.
Young Midoriya!
"All Might noticed us!" said Izuku. "Jiro-san, can you do it?"
Jiro nodded and did something with her Earphone Jack.
"Try to talk, we can hear you," said Izuku.
"You hear me?" All Might said. "Villains have taken control of this island and of the security system. Every hero has been captured... Is Oro still free? Is he with you?"
Izuku nodded.
"That's great, at least him... let him handle this situation alone. It's dangerous for you to stay here."
__________
"We received All Might's message," said Mato. "We're not going to actually stay back and watch Oro doing the job alone, are we?"
"We are," said Iida. "We must follow All Might-sensei's advice and run away."
"Young Iida's right," said Oro. "Let me handle this."
"I agree with Iida-san," said Yaoyorozu. "We're still students, Oro-san's a Pro Hero. We still can't fight Villains without a Hero License."
"I don't think it'll be easy to escape from this place, though," said Mato. "This place has the same security as Tartarus, so we can just wait until Oro doesn't fix this situation... or we can fight and completely ignore All Might's advice. He's not my sensei, but yours, after all."
"We're trying to become Heroes," said Shoto. "Only because we don't have a Hero License doesn't mean we have to stay here doing anything."
A moment of silence before Izuku spoke up. "I want to help them. I want to go save them."
"So you want to fight Villains?" Mineta asked. "But... we need a way to save All Might without fighting Villains."
"So, we're going to do something?" Mato asked.
"...Yes," said Izuku.
(I can read right through your minds. Right now, you're wondering why I want to defeat the Villains and help the Heroes, even if you know damn well I'm actually a Villain. The reason is simple: for me, the only Villains worthy of being called so are the ones within the League of Villains, so I'll crush those who invaded this island to show them we're the best. And then, obviously, I want to save my ass, so... I'm also kind of forced to do it.)
"I-Island's security system is on top of this tower," said Melissa. "If the Villains took control, then the passwords and everything else must've been deactivated. We should be able to restart the system."
"Avoiding fighting and restarting the system, huh?" Shoto muttered. "We can do that."
"We might actually succeed, yay!" Oro exclaimed. "Okay, listen, y'all: since I'm the Pro Hero here, I'll lead you. You must follow my orders, okay? That's the only way I can allow you to come with me."
"Got it," said Izuku. "Lead us, Oro-san."
"Uhm, actually, I have no idea of the way to the top of the power, so... Melissa, lead the way to the one who leads the way!"
"That doesn't make sense," said Mato. "But I understood."
"Fine!" Oro exclaimed. "Let's do this!
