Seeing it was Bewear, Ash happily handed little Eevee to Lara beside him and ran towards her. Bewear equally opened her arms and ran towards Ash.
"Bewear!" (Ash!)
Just when everyone thought what was coming next would be a touching, tearful reunion scene, Ash and Bewear suddenly threw a punch at each other.
Boom!
With the clash of Ash and Bewear's fists, a powerful shockwave instantly swept the area. Ash laughed and said, "Long time no see, Momma Bewear! Let's begin our long-overdue sparring match!"
"Wear!" (Such a good boy!)
Then, something that made everyone's jaws drop happened. Ash and Bewear were actually brawling, and putting up a spectacular fight at that. Ash continuously attacked Bewear with kicks, while Bewear blocked constantly and countered with her fists.
"Bewear!" (You haven't neglected your training, what a good boy!)
"Hah! Momma Bewear, your martial arts have gotten even stronger! Now this is getting awesome!"
The exchange of blows between Ash and Bewear grew faster and faster, while the Stufful on the side happily jumped up and down watching its mother and brother spar.
"Hey Meowth, who is that..."
Having never seen a Bewear before, Gary could only quietly ask Meowth. Meowth replied with a look of absolute helplessness, "Dat... is Momma Bewear. The boss met her back in Alola..."
"Momma Bewear... Her fighting power is terrifying..."
Watching Bewear casually shatter boulders with a single punch or kick, Gary believed that if he were the one fighting her... he would absolutely be in pieces by now.
"It is terrifying indeed... I feel like even I wouldn't be able to handle her now..."
Meowth swallowed hard as he watched Bewear. Even though he had reached the Champion level, he still felt he couldn't beat Bewear. It wasn't that he was being a coward... he genuinely couldn't beat her. Therefore, there was probably only one thing this proved: Momma Bewear's level was...
Just as Meowth was left speechless by his own terrifying guess, Ash and Bewear's sparring session ended. With an over-the-shoulder throw, Ash was caught in Bewear's hands. But immediately after, Bewear placed Ash safely on her shoulder. Ash comfortably lay on Bewear's shoulder and said to Misty and the others, "Let me introduce you, this is my Momma Bewear!"
Ignoring the fossil-digging people whose jaws were still on the floor, Bewear walked up to Lara, patted her head, and then sniffed her with her nose.
"Bewear!" (Oh? Has Lara become Ash's mate? Very nice!)
Then, Bewear looked at Misty and Suzie and nodded.
"Wear!" (All good girls!)
Bewear was very satisfied with Misty and the others. After all, because they had been in contact with Ash for a long time, they carried Ash's scent. Therefore, Bewear had a high affinity for them.
"Bewear!" (Who are these two spiky-haired kids?)
When Bewear looked at Brock and Gary, her gaze changed... The implication was clearly: who the heck are you nobodies? Ash introduced them to Momma Bewear, "This is Gary, my good buddy, and the one with the squinty eyes is Brock, my traveling companion."

"Hello, Momma Bewear. My name is Misty, I'm Ash's girlfriend."
"Hello, Momma Bewear. My name is Suzie, my relationship with Ash is the same as Misty's."
Regarding Ash's Momma Bewear, since Ash called her Mom, Misty and Suzie respectfully addressed her the same way. Their polite manners won even more favor from Momma Bewear, so she took out some Alolan berries and handed them over.
"Thank you!"
"Bewear!" (Such good girls!)
Yeah, the current Bewear was a completely different Pokémon from the one with terrifying combat power just a moment ago.
