Chapter 64 - Chapter 60: If You Can’t Find It, Create It!

"We unintentionally created a Hextech Communicator that can transmit sound and images synchronously and allow for real-time communication!"

Duke slowly revealed his hypothesis to the two somewhat stunned individuals. The energy fluctuations of the Hextech Gem, after passing through the cut crystal, perfectly transmitted the image from one end to the other.

If this isn't a video call, then what is it?

The communicator that his original body had pondered until his death was unexpectedly created by him today. It truly is fate playing tricks.

While building a space shuttle, he inadvertently stumbled upon the most primitive communication device.

This result also left Duke a bit speechless. He wanted to work with Jayce and Viktor to create the Hexgate from the anime storyline. Through studying related knowledge, Duke had already perfectly mastered the theoretical knowledge.

In his view, Hexgate simply involve harnessing magic energy through mathematical principles to construct a spatial channel between base stations in two separate locations.

This could allow for crossing between two places in the shortest amount of time, thereby changing current modes of transportation.

It would make Piltover the transportation hub of Runeterra, the shipping center of the entire World.

And then provide more convenient conditions for his future travels around Runeterra.

But now, in the process of researching Hexgate, they ended up making the Hextech Communicator. One can only say that fate plays tricks.

"This truly is a beautiful mistake!"

Viktor looked at Duke's voice on the crystal facet, and Duke's side had Viktor's voice echoing. Aside from some distortion in the sound, there were no major issues.

"This also proves that our theory is correct!"

Jayce was extremely excited, looking at the prototype of the Hextech Communicator, which had constructed an energy channel to transmit sound and images, and his body trembled with excitement.

"Ahem, Jayce!" Viktor patted Jayce's shoulder and pointed at Duke, saying, "In fact, this theory is Duke's!"

Jayce's expression froze. His eyes, as he looked at Duke, were a mix of envy and jealousy. The goal he had pursued for so long, and after successfully developing it, he wasn't the first to expand and develop it.

Instead, it was a guy who had only looked at his notebook for less than fifteen minutes.

This kind of talent was maddeningly enviable, but what followed was a deep sense of powerlessness, an insurmountable chasm that led to despair.

"These are all the results of our efforts; it's not just my success alone!"

Duke tapped the crystal in front of him, drawing the attention of both Jayce and Viktor: "Gentlemen, our goal is not yet complete. Although we have built the Hextech Communicator, this is just a small step on our journey of exploration!"

"The Hextech Communicator can indeed change some things right now, but our goal is not limited to this!"

"Moreover, for this thing, if we want to miniaturize and mass-produce it, it will take at least three or two months to complete. It's better to organize the data and reports first and archive them."

"Do you think the current communicator isn't good?" Viktor felt incredulous. Such a great research achievement, one that could change the entire World's landscape, and Duke actually called it a small step on the journey of exploration?

One must know how important the communication and exchange of intelligence and information are. With the Hextech Communicator, once perfected, it could make the Twin Cities and the World more closely connected.

But Duke said all of this was insignificant!

"No, it's not good. This thing can't be popularized; the cost is too high, and the input and income are completely disproportionate."

"But with this, we can transmit information faster and make communication between various places more closely connected!"

Viktor forcefully tapped his cane a few times. Duke shrugged, saying indifferently, "That's right, but doing so would put the cart before the horse regarding our original intention!"

"What we want to do is Hexgate, research that can connect various places closely. After its success, people will only need to spend a few golden sea to easily cross oceans and continents, going to places that ordinary people would never have set foot in their entire lives!"
