As soon as Dev's eyes open, seeing the falling debris in front of him, he quickly regains full consciousness. Large cracks had appeared on the wall and the ceiling was also on the verge of collapsing. A lot of rubble was scattered on the floor. Dev quickly begins to analyse his surroundings to figure out what to do next. Just then, he sees that the staircase path through which he had come up — the wall there cracks, and that gate becomes blocked by a large amount of rubble. Seeing this, Dev's mouth opens slightly, and a sound comes from his mouth: "Oh!" Dev quickly dusts off his clothes and stands up. Observing his surroundings, Dev now gets ready to make a new escape plan.
Dev sees that on the wall near the altar of the castle, there are many crosses, and at one place the wall had broken, creating a hole. Seeing this, Dev says, "It seems that due to the explosion, this wall is now about to collapse." Dev quickly crosses the rubble-filled path and reaches near the wall. The crack, where the wall had broken away, was large enough for a person to pass through. Dev quickly jumps and crosses the wall. He falls directly near the gate of the collapsing castle. Because he grabbed and released the wall while falling, Dev does not hit the ground directly; he lands with his feet on the ground. When Dev looks back, the castle now looks like a broken ruin.
"Did I do this to it?" Dev looks at this work of his in astonishment. Dev says, "Well, at least that summoning got cancelled. But how old would this ruin be anyway? I don't know — how would I know?" Dev then snaps out of his thoughts and looks ahead. Dev says in surprise, "What... what is this? How are those statues' eyes glowing?" Dev says to himself fearfully, "Are... are they alive?" And he remembers — that scream-like sound — did it come from that demoness's veena? Dev says, "What do I do now?" Dev wonders whether they are really alive and capable of attacking.
Dev said, "Now what should be done?" Dev takes one step forward, looking at those statues. After all, he doesn't want to stay here forever. However, when he steps forward, those statues do not move. Dev thinks to himself, "Are these demons not alive? Was I scared for no reason?" For reassurance, Dev takes another big step and moves forward, keeping his eyes fixed on the statues' eyes the entire time. Nothing. Dev takes a few more steps. "Will these statues really not move? Are they truly just statues?" With every step, his heart beats louder, but at the same time, a kind of peace settles in his mind that they are not moving.
When Dev passes the two pillars on which the statues were placed, his gaze falls upon the pillar with the demoness holding the veena, and his throat begins to dry. "Oh, is this the same one that made that terrifying sound just a while ago?" Dev could still feel pain in his head just thinking about that sound — as if someone had pierced a very sharp, shrill noise right next to his ears and inside his brain. Dev doesn't even want to think about what would have happened if she had started playing the veena loudly. Just then, Dev reassures himself, saying, "No, no, this is still just a statue and will not awaken right now."
Dev shifts his gaze to another statue, but he doesn't want to think about the scissors in that statue's hand right now. Dev was now standing right in the middle of the four pillars. Dev doesn't want to stay here long; he begins to move forward again. Slowly, as he reaches the far end of the statues, Dev's heart feels satisfaction, and he becomes convinced that these are just statues — he had been walking in fear for no reason. He runs his hands through his hair and lets out a long, warm breath from his mouth. "Huh! Alright, we've made it." And he begins to move forward. Slowly, while glancing around carefully, he soon leaves the pillars behind and arrives near the chasm.
Dev comes running quickly and, placing his hands on his knees, looks ahead, then looks further and says, "Oh! There's no bridge at all." Dev had managed to escape and come this far, but how would he cross to the other side? Dev says, I couldn't have stayed there either, because those demonic statues had created a terrifying atmosphere of their own.
Dev says, "Since there's nothing I can do right now, why not call Som Khurana? Is he alright?" Dev takes out his smartphone and calls Som Khurana. Ring... ring... "T-t... yes, Dev, are you alright?" Dev says, "Yes, Uncle." Hearing his voice, Som Khurana becomes tense and starts speaking fearfully, "What happened? What happened to Dev? Who are you with Dev?" Dev couldn't understand what Som Uncle was saying. "I am Dev himself."
Just then, Dev remembers, "Oh! I have changed my appearance." Dev thinks, "The mask is of no use right now." Dev quickly calls out to Disha, "Disha!" The system window appears before Dev and a voice says, "Yes? Tell me, what need of me has arisen?" Dev says, "How do I remove the mask?" Disha says, "You just need to place your thumb on your forehead between your eyebrows, imagine that mask in your mind, and think about it coming off. It will lose its colour and return to normal."
Dev says, "Oh... is that so? That doesn't sound too difficult." Dev places the thumb of his left hand on his head, and before he can even consciously imagine it, the mask comes into his mind — because it is so terrifying that no one could forget it. As soon as that happens, Dev feels that there is a mask stuck to his face. Dev thinks about removing it away from himself. As he does so, Dev's external appearance begins to return to normal, and he becomes as he was before. Dev opens his eyes. The mask was still on Dev's face. "This mask is very terrifying. I just hope no one sees me in this mask, otherwise everyone will start thinking I'm a villain."
From the mobile phone, the same worried voice was still saying, "Yes... wait, I am also coming to the ruins." Hearing this, Dev quickly speaks, still in the mask, "Everything is fine, everything is fine. That was just Rakesh Khurana's voice." Hearing this, Som Khurana feels reassured and says, "You had scared me." Dev thinks, "Now he might ask to speak with Rakesh Khurana." Dev quickly says, "Bye," and hangs up.
And Dev wants to remove the mask from his face. It felt as if someone had stuck tape onto his face. Dev now removes the mask. Just then, Disha's voice comes, "You cannot wear this mask again for the next twenty minutes." However, as soon as the mask comes off, the eyes of all the statues standing on the pillars begin to glow red, and they all turn towards the direction where Dev was standing.
