"What how can this guy have taken my attack head on without even having a scratch on him?" Leona thought as she got back up.
"What kind of ability does he have, and why can't I sense his aura at all? I can't figure this guy out at all." Ren thought. "Leona, this is dangerous. It would be best to retreat for now." He said.
Violence seemed to make a move towards Leona, but Ren shot an energy blast that stopped his movement.
"I'm afraid I can't let you get any closer."
"Shut up. I'm not interested in some wuss who lets his woman fight for him." Violence said.
"First of all, she's not my woman and secondly, I never wanted her to fight in the first place. Come on Leona let's go."
"You better listen to your little boyfriend lady, I'll be a good sport and let you go just this once."
"Hey screw you! He's not my boyfriend! And as for you Ren, how can we just stand by and let a guy who's abducting innocent girls go?"
"I understand your point, but for starters we don't actually have any proof that he is the culprit. Even if he is, we shouldn't rush into battle with an opponent we know nothing about so easily."
"What do you mean we don't have any proof? You hear what the man at the bar said, plus in all this time he hasn't denied that he was responsible for the disappearances."
"That's true. So, will you answer us? Whether you are responsible for the recent abductions or not?" Ren asked Violence.
"Like I said before, I'm not obligated to answer any of your questions. I was being nice earlier when I said I'd let the both of you go, but that offer had been rescinded. Now you can't leave!"
"What are you-?" Ren tried to respond but was cut off by a punch from Violence that sent him flying.
Ren and Leona proceeded to fight with Violence but they were no match for him, especially considering that they were both still recovering from their injuries from their fight against Tigre. The whole time Violence never used a special ability.
"Man, you guys are some losers. Next time you should think twice before picking a fight with someone like me." Violence said as he cackled over their beaten and bruised bodies.
"Then maybe you would prefer a more substantial opponent than a young girl?" Tigre asked as he arrived.
"Is that you Tigre? Yeah that'd be a nice change of pace. But for your information, I didn't even start this fight I was just defendin' myself."
"I don't exactly believe that." Tigre replied. "I thought I sensed a familiar aura. It's those two again Did they come here because of the reports of missing girls as well? Why would they do that?" He thought.
"I've been dispatched here to investigate a series of abductions in this region. Tell me Violence, are you the one responsible for these girls disappearances?" Tigre asked.
"Just like I told those two, I'm not obligated to answer your questions. Don't get cocky just because we know each other."
"I must not know you that well if you're involved with something like this." Tigre said as he got ready to fight.
"Let's just get this started already!"
Tigre and Violence started to exchange strikes at blinding speed. Their clashes caused the ground to shake and crumble beneath their feet.
"Hehe, not bad Tig, but you know you're going to have to try a lot harder than that if you want to take me on." Violence said.
"You don't actually think that I've gotten serious yet do you?"
"Well you better get serious or you'll get hurt."
"Hey Vi! We gotta go!" A voice said seemingly referring to Violence.
"Huh? What are you talking about Ria? Things are just getting good here!" Violence replied.
A woman's voice was being projected from a ship that had appeared overhead. "Vi, you know Tigre is a Vice Admiral now! He's got a whole bunch of troops nearby. Even you can't take on a whole army by yourself!" She said.
"Taking on an army? Now that does sound interesting."
"Yeah but you can't fight an army AND Tigre at the same time."
"I think you'd be surprised, but fine. I suppose I do have better things to do today." He replied. "Looks like today is your lucky day."
"Do you really think I'd just let you go?" Tigre asked.
"Do you think you have any say in whether I stay or go?"
While Tigre and Violence stared each other down, the ship that was overhead lowered a cable and Violence jumped onto it and it pulled him away as it sped off.
"It's probably better to not pursue him recklessly. Mirri, let's get to the ship as quickly as possible." Tigre said.
Tigre looked over to Leona and Ren who were just now starting to get back up.
"You two, what are you doing here?" Tigre asked them.
"That's none of your business." Leona managed to say.
"You wouldn't happen to be involved with these abductions would you?"
"What? No! Of course we aren't! We came here to pummel the guy responsible for that!" Leona shouted as she seemingly recovered her stamina.
"I see." Tigre said. "So they're here to investigate the disappearances too. Why would villains who want to kill my grandfather go out of their way to help someone else? This is the second time I've had to ask myself this question." He thought.
"If that's the case, I'll let you go one more time. Don't misunderstand me though, I'm not doing this out of kindness toward you. I simply find Violence to be a much bigger threat than the two of you. Mark my words, this will be the last time I let you go. The next time we meet I will capture you no matter what." Tigre continued.
"Thank you, we'll leave then." Ren said.
"Wait. I have just one question for you two before you go." Tigre said as the other's turned to walk away. "Why are you trying to kill my grandfather?"
