Ren opened the door and saw the man he was looking for standing behind it in a great open room.
"I knew he was in here the whole time, I only told Leona that we should split up is because I didn't want her to get caught up in our fight." Ren thought.
Meanwhile, the door that Leona had opened lead to a room that seemed to be filled with music equipment. Messing with the equipment was a fair woman with black hair who had thick black makeup and was covered in tattoos. It seemed that she didn't notice Leona enter the room at first. When she eventually did notice she was startled to see her standing there.
"Who are you? W-What are you doing here?" She asked.
"My name is Leona, I'm looking for the man who's been abducting girls around here. Do you know where I can find him? Did he take you too?" Leona asked her.
"Abducting girls? I don't know what you're talking about."
"This poor girl, she probably has no idea what kind of guy he is." Leona thought. "Don't worry about it. We're just after that guy Violence, we don't want to hurt you." She said.
"Wait a minute if you're after Vi, I can't just let you go."
"Please I really don't want to hurt you. I'm only after this guy because he's abducting girls from their homes. You don't really want to help a guy like that do you?"
"Like I said, I don't know what you're talking about. You must have the wrong guy. Now you better leave before I have to get physical with you."
"This girl really is in a tough situation. He's probably got her brainwashed or something. Reasoning with her is probably going to be impossible. I'll try to deal with her without hurting her as much as possible." Leona thought.
Ria had started to set up the musical equipment and plugged her guitar into an amplifier. "Mic check, mic check, one two, one two." She said into a microphone that she had just set up.
"Umm, what are you doing? I was under the impression that you were going to try to fight me or something."
"That's exactly what I'm doing." Ria replied as she started to play her guitar.
🎶"Death and destruction, sorrow and despair, the putrid stench of decay in the air. Swallowed by darkness, too scared to speak. The strong mercilessly devour the weak."🎶
"What are you-" Leona started to ask, but she was cut off as a shadowy black mist filled the room.
"My ability is called Enchanting Songstress. It allows me to give effects to my music based on what I sing. This song is called Deadly Melody, and I can guarantee you that you'll be dead by the time you hear the final note."
The mist continued to spread throughout the room until it had covered it completely in blackness.
"What is this stuff?" Leona thought.
🎶"Ash in my teeth
Cracked earth
Dead trees
Every breath tastes like something diseased."🎶
Ria continued her song and as she sung skeletal figures appeared and orbs of black mist gathered and started moving towards Leona.
Leona fired off some shockwaves to deflect the orbs and destroy the skeletons. She continued to struggle against her attacks, but as the song went on the attacks just kept coming.

Flies on the feast

From rusted concrete.
Swallowed by darkness

Tearing at the weak
Death and destruction
Burning in my lungs
I breathe in the ruin
I choke on what we've done

Storefront glass

Ria looked a bit perturbed whenever Leona would destroy one of her attacks with her shockwaves.
"This will finish it for sure. Nobody could survive to the end of this song." Ria thought as she continued to sing.
As the song reached its climax, bubbling piles of black sludge oozed out of the ground and all the bones and ooze and mist coiled around Leona.
🎶"If this is the ending
Say it out loud
Or carry the silence
Right into the ground."🎶
"Once she's completely covered she's done for. There's no way to escape. I'm not sure how she managed to survive my attacks so far but her luck runs out here." Ria thought.
Right before Leona was completely encased in her attack she managed to make a move.
"Ripple Resonance!!!!!"
Suddenly, all of the black mist and everything else that had been filling the room were shattered and disappeared. Then Ria was struck by the attack and was on the ground.
"What? How could that even happen?" Ria asked. "My ability works by traveling through sound waves. You shouldn't be able to block or parry it or anything."
"Yeah I noticed. That's actually the exact reason why you lost." Leona replied. "Turns out I'm a bad matchup for you."
