Heat seeker, beast point of view
I stare at the vast army collected to kill us three. I feel my eye twitch
"hey you corny bastard, get your hand off my shoulder. And if you try to lower it instead of taking it off of me you'll lose it"
mordret laughs as I glare at him. His hand is on the opposite shoulder to where he is and I do not like it. He pats my shoulder and the spell speaks
[You have received a memory]
"Oh so you did complete your part of the deal. Now hands off"
he leans on me more, i lean away.
"Oh come now my dear rival, you've yet to complete your part of the deal. Well you've done part of it, but the other part hasn't been done"
Cassie turns her head towards us slightly, likely confused about what we are talking about. This guy just loves pissing me off.
"Why don't you remove your hand already?"
He laughs getting even closer.
"I don't think it's really all that important. It's not time for me to go into battle after all"
I finally reach my breaking point. I'm done with him being so damn annoying. I turn my head and i bite his arm. Damnation he tastes foul, I thought he wouldn't taste so bad, being a supreme and all. He pulls his hand away holding it with a bewildered look. I spit out the blood in my mouth
"damn you corny idiot, eat some real meals and not just sweets. You taste really bad."
He blinks now even more confused
"how do you know what i eat?"
I wipe my mouth off
"back in Antarctica, if the parts of my army that cooked for me got destroyed I ate raw meat."
He just stares at me for a few seconds before he starts to laugh.
"I should have known."
Cassie finally turns her head fully towards us
"I doubt now is time for you two to play around"
i nod slowly looking at her. I lean to see the reflection mirroring her. Its a little freaky I have to admit, but I can't judge. I make true clones of myself after all.
Mordret lifts his hand to summon a sword
"it can't be helped i suppose."
I put my hand out
"mirror shard"
he stops looking at me
"you want a... well I guess its not too much"
a mirror shard appears in his hand
"careful, I could make a new new core with that after all"
I wave him off, I take a halberd made of ice, covered in countless runes with three black gems embedded within. I put the mirror shard onto where the blades connect and the ice around it absorbs it. Finally i put it in mordrets hands
"there my end of the bargain is done. This should allow you full access to my dormant ability and partway access to my awakened ability. Both at the supreme level"
he stares at it, then it turns into a sword.
"Now isn't this a beautiful thing. I must admit, you are quite the craftsman!"
Its what me and noctis had been designing for some time now. Of course it's a great weapon. Nothing more, nothing less. I notice the sky darkening, from a massive swarm of nightmare creatures.
"Damn. That's a lot"
i lower my arm, a spear of ice forming within and condensing. I take a step throwing the spear into the cloud of creatures. When it hits it explodes into a cloud of sharp snow that rips them apart.
"Using a swarm against me? How foolish.
I keep my eyes out for anything wrong feeling. Or well more wrong then this, their going to appear. Unrelenting storm will appear. I notice the human armies making it to the chains finally. As mordret goes to send out his reflections I lift my hand. I step to the edge of the island
"careful"
i wave my hand at cassies words. I'm well aware I need to be careful after all. I slowly sit down, that does feel better. Finally I create massive walls on each chain to stop the armies. The reflections, all but one, change into a saint. I can't be bothered to remember his name, but from what i can remember he has a sealing ability. Or well, he can create a small realm to seal people within. Smart, mordret knows that I could use them to strengthen my domain if I can take them out of Asterions domain. Although one reflection is helping kill the nightmare creatures he's got as thralls. I glance back at mordret who's swinging the sword, testing it out.
"Any problems so far?"
He looks up
"no this thing is perfect, quite the beauty i must say."
I glare at him
"on the chains idiot"
he gets a sheepish look
"oh yes it's going well"
i roll my eyes looking back at the walls of ice stopping the army. Oh... its truly a shame, i don't want to fight seishan. Not one bit. It seems that's why hes sending her so boldly.
My head snaps up as I feel a cold wind. I get up as quickly as I can
"mordret! Get yourself ready! Unrelenting storm is joining the battle!"
His face changes from its normal relaxed expression to a cold, hateful look.
"I see."
Light comes together turning into a helmet. I get up moving over to cassie. I summon my halberd staying close to he just in case. Finally the gate opens in the sky, and out comes storms last hope. Watching from its front is unrelenting storm.
