Chapter 26 - Impossible to Kill

They walked into the training room on the second floor for their next lesson and waited around for the teacher to show. While they were waiting, watches started going off left and right. Jason and Sophia looked at their own watch and saw an announcement was made but before they could check out what it was, the teacher walked into the room.

She was five eight and had pink hair tied in a ponytail that went down her back. Her black training outfit hung to every curve showing off her delicate features. Her sea blue eyes pierced the defenses of most of the men in the room as she scanned the class in front of her.

"She's gorgeous," one man said.

Her blue eyes sharpened on the individual that spoke. A light pink aroma spread from her and flowed to his direction. His eyes lost color as he walked forward like a zombie. When he got close to her, she smacked him with one hand and he flew into the wall. He collapsed onto the floor and didn't move.

"Next individual that says what's on their mind, will receive similar treatment." She said coldly. "I am Professor Mathilda, your training instructor. I will be teaching you all martial arts and other forms of combat. You will learn how to fight both as an individual and as a group against superior opponents. If you think one form of combat is enough, your wrong. You have to know how to adapt to the fighting style of others. The more you know how to fight, the better off you will be. Now let us begin."

"We are fighting already?" One girl asked.

"Experience is the best teacher. Now get ready."

NEW QUEST AVAILABLE. DEFEAT THE PEAK RANK C CREATURE. REWARDS: 5 LEVELS AND A NEW SKILL. ACCEPT QUEST Y/N

Jason's eyes widened at the message. A peak rank C creature? How was he supposed to kill such a thing? Granted there were others here to help but even then, the odds were slim. Yet the rewards were to tempting to ignore. He said yes as Professor Mathilda walked to the podium. She pressed the podium a few times and the ceiling opened dropping a massive beast in front of them.

It was a massive beast that took up a quarter of the room. It had the nose of an elephant and the body of a bear. It eyes were the same as a rhinoceros and the tail of the bull. Tiger like claws were on its feet and as soon as it roared, the room shook.

"It's a damn Bulgasari," Jason said in astonishment.

"A what?" Sophia asked.

"Its a being that is related to old Korea. It means impossible to kill. Anything it eats will only strengthen it and serve as food. It will eat almost anything."

"Any weaknesses?"

"Not really. The only thing that comes to mind is fire but it eats that too."

"Then don't let it eat your flames."

They took a fighting stance as the beast before them roared. Most of the students trembled in fear and started to back up. The rest identified the bulgasari as a proper challenge and rushed forward to engage.

Jason joined in on them. He punched the bulgasari on the side of the head but the beast simply shook its head as if to say 'that tickled' and continued to move through the battlefield.

Swords and spears bounced off the beast as if they were striking a tank. "I'm going to try something. Follow my movements." Jason ran toward the beasts flank. He used mana to ignite his fist and punched the side. As expected, his fist bounced right off, however, the flames flickered a little before they died. Sophia followed Jason's initiative and punched where he hit the bulgasari. Her fist met the side of the beast and managed to crack its metallic hide. "Alright it's hurt. Hey everyone use flames. It weakens the shell. Don't let it eat any though.

Jason started running around the creature and the creature started to follow him as if sensing he was a threat. It's legs kicked some of the students and flung them into the wall. Most were unconscious and some struggled to get back on their feet.eventually Jason had his back against the wall as the bulgasari charged and tried to crush him underfoot. Jason activated flamestep to escape and appeared above the creature. He landed on its back and started to ride it.

The bulgasari didn't like that. It buckled and tried to throw Jason off as the other students charged back in. Jason held on trying to get Sophia's attention. "Sophia use fire on the hide it will soften it up enough for you to crack. Then punch it."

Sophia was already moving by the time he started talking. "I know that you stupid goose." She coated her hands in her dragons flame and punched the shell of the bulgasari. It cracked under her attack. Everyone stared in astonishment. Target the weak points we're making."

The weak points in the bulgasari's shell were visible to everyone, yet when the blessed attacked them, they couldn't penetrate the hide. Their weapons bounced off.

"Jason I see why you say this thing is unkillable." One male student said as the bulgasari ate a weapon. The effect was immediate. It grew another inch and some of the cracks in the shell began to repair themselves.

"Oh come on!" Someone complained.

"Yea that's why it earned the nickname unkillable." Jason said with sweat pouring off his face. His mana was running low. "We have to find a way to break through it's hide."

"I have something that can work." A girl with black hair and red eyes said.

"Ok can you make an injury where I mark?"

"Yes."

Jason nodded and turned toward the bulgasari who was eating a shield that someone dropped.

'Time to kill something that wasn't ment to die.' Jason thought to himself.
