Alice collapsed the instant her fist connected with the demoness — her legs gave out and her body hit the ground.
She had used absolutely everything she had left in that final punch.
"IT'S READY!!" Rose shouted from behind.
Mark spun toward the vampire.
Rose had both hands extended toward the ground, and beneath her feet glowed a purple magical circle that rotated slowly on itself.
The runes she had been tracing for the past five minutes now formed a complete pattern.
"The emergency teleport is ready!" Rose repeated urgently. "But I can only take you and me!"
Hearing that, Mark stopped dead.
"What?"
"The spell was designed for two people," Rose explained as the magical circle beneath her feet spun faster and faster. "You and me… that's all I can guarantee."
Mark looked over at Yuki.
The assassin had already dragged herself to where Alice was and was lifting her from the ground, pulling one of the nun's arms over her shoulders to keep her upright.
