A yawn escaped Isolde's lips as she slowly opened her eyes, stretching before sitting upright as she woke from her sleep.
The first thing that came into her sight was Sasha arguing with Eva. Which was somewhat strange, as she had never seen them argue this fervently.
Out of curiosity, she decided to cut into their conversation.
"What's wrong?"
At her voice, the two girls—Sasha and Eva—noticed Isolde. While Eva smiled back at her, Sasha rather had a frown carved deep across her face.
"What happened?" Isolde asked, her gaze turning as she tried to find if something had gone wrong or if something was missing.
And to her surprise… truly, something was missing.
There was no sign of Oliver.
"He's gone," Sasha said, as though reading Isolde's thoughts. "He left while we were sleeping, and Eva let him go."
Isolde lingered for a moment before nodding slowly. "Then why are you both arguing?" she asked, her curiosity only deepening.
At this, the two girls froze in hesitation.
