"What the hell is going on?" Oliver asked through gritted teeth as Eva's grasp around his neck began to tighten ferociously, her fingers digging into his skin like iron claws.
She only groaned, her face growing even more determined to strangle him to death. Her eyes told a story of pain, sadness. Yet an unshakable resolve to kill him.
And after a few seconds, she spoke.
"Don't act all stupid! Like you don't know?"
Oliver raised his hands to her wrists, trying to pry them off, his fingers trembling from weakness, but to no avail. He was too injured, too drained from his final battle. His strength had abandoned him when he needed it most.
