Raiden Ei brought little Elysia into the ship's cabin. Although it was a bright, sunny morning outside,
the cabin was somewhat dim. However, it was still possible to see things clearly, though there was an unpleasant smell in the air.
Raiden Ei frowned, using her hand to cover little Elysia's mouth and nose. She said to her, "Little Elysia, the air here isn't very good. Bear with it for a moment; we'll be out soon."
Little Elysia couldn't speak, so she just nodded obediently, her eyes still scanning the surroundings.
Raiden Ei held her breath and advanced quickly, heading straight for the room where her Observation Haki sensed people were being held. She passed one cluttered room after another and arrived in less than three minutes.
What met her eyes was a room that had been modified. The wooden walls had been directly replaced with iron bars. A group of people, regardless of gender or age, were locked inside. They all looked over when they heard the movement.
Seeing Raiden Ei appear, they all showed expressions of surprise, with a glimmer of hope in their eyes.
As she approached, one middle-aged woman saw little Elysia and immediately stood up excitedly. She rushed to the iron bars and stared directly at little Elysia, saying loudly,
"Elysia, why are you here? Didn't I tell you to hide well!" As she spoke, tears fell from her eyes.
Little Elysia's eyes instantly welled up with tears too. She pulled away from Raiden Ei's hand and said with a slight cry, "Mama Morby, I brought Sister Ei to save everyone from the Orphanage."
Raiden Ei's gaze swept over the group. Her empty hand directly tore off the lock on the iron bars and she said to those locked inside, "The pirates have been dealt with by me. If you have any questions, let's talk after we get out!"
Raiden Ei didn't care what they thought. She picked up little Elysia and walked back. The environment here was not good, and she didn't want to waste any more time here.
The imprisoned people were somewhat disbelieving upon hearing Raiden Ei's words. They looked at each other, and for a moment, none of them moved.
The Orphanage Director, Morby, was more decisive. She pulled up a few children who were clearly very young and said to them anxiously, "Children, let's go! Let's get out quickly!"
She took the lead, walking out of the iron-barred door with the people from the Orphanage, heading outside, leaving behind the group that hadn't quite adapted yet.
"Let's go too!" A tall man stood up from a corner. Visible on him were wounds where the blood had clearly coagulated. After speaking, he was the first to walk out.
The others hesitated for a moment, then gritted their teeth and followed.
Raiden Ei brought little Elysia out of the cabin and stopped only after they had moved some distance away. She set her down to sit on the ship's railing, wiped away the tears that were welling up, and then asked,
"Little Elysia, why are you crying again? Aren't you happy that we rescued everyone from the Orphanage?"
Little Elysia shook her head and said in a milky voice, "Thank you, Sister Ei, for saving everyone from the Orphanage for me."
"Heh heh, it's nothing. As long as it's what little Elysia asks, I will do it." Seeing that little Elysia was seated securely on the railing, Raiden Ei turned to look at the sea.
Little Elysia's moist eyes instantly lit up. She happily waved her little hands and pressed, "Really? Really? Don't lie to Elysia! ♪ ♪ ♪"
Raiden Ei turned to look at little Elysia, patted her little head, and smiled, "Heh heh~ Of course! Who told you little Elysia is so cute!"
"You have to keep your word! Otherwise, I'll be angry!" Saying this, little Elysia held out her little finger: "Let's pinky swear, lying makes you a puppy!"
Raiden Ei was stunned. Was this pushing her luck? She had already said the words, so she couldn't back out now. She could only comply and extend her little finger.
"Pinky swear, hang by a thread, no backing out for a hundred years." Little Elysia happily completed the ritual and said with a triumphant little expression on her face, "Now we are good friends ♪ ♪ ♪"
Raiden Ei pulled back her hand. Seeing her triumphant little expression, she said with some helplessness, "Why do I feel like I just sold myself? And it was the kind where I had to pay extra."
Little Elysia smiled at Raiden Ei with the purest smile, "How could that be! Good friends can't be bought with money."
Raiden Ei could only offer a helpless smile. At this moment, the Orphanage Director Morby also walked out of the cabin and was walking quickly toward them. She had to suppress her somewhat exposed expression.
Seeing the people from the Orphanage, little Elysia couldn't sit still and immediately asked Raiden Ei to put her down on the deck. She had no choice but to comply.
There were about five or six children from the Orphanage, big and small. Only Director Morby was leading them, and they weren't walking fast. As soon as little Elysia reached the deck, she scurried over on her short legs.
Director Morby immediately bent down and hugged little Elysia, stroking her back repeatedly. The other children huddled behind her.
Little Elysia threw herself into Morby's arms and asked in a milky voice, "Mama Morby! Are you okay!"
"I'm fine~ I'm fine. Elysia, why are you here, and who is this young lady?" Director Morby looked at Raiden Ei, clearly wanting to know the current situation.
Raiden Ei walked over behind little Elysia and said, "I just have a strong connection with little Elysia. She asked me to save you, so I came. If you want to know anything else, you can ask little Elysia."
Hearing their conversation, little Elysia came out of Morby's embrace, took her hand, and said, "Mama Morby, Sister Ei is a good person. I asked her to come save everyone from the Orphanage."
Director Morby finally let go of her worries and said sincerely to Raiden Ei, "Thank you, Miss Ei."
Raiden Ei said dismissively, "No need. You talk with little Elysia first; I'll go deal with things on the ship."
She then said to little Elysia, "Little Elysia, you chat with everyone here first. I'm going to take care of matters on the ship. Don't worry; I'll come over immediately if anything happens."
Little Elysia nodded and said to Raiden Ei, "Okay, Sister Ei, you need to be careful!"
Raiden Ei showed a smile, waved her hand, and replied, "I will. See you later!"
Director Morby also said, "Then Miss Ei, please take care! We won't disturb you."
"Mm, see you later!"
The two watched Raiden Ei leave!
The other group that had been locked up also walked out of the cabin. Seeing so many pirates lying on the deck, they didn't dare to run around and gathered in a corner to discuss something.
Raiden Ei went directly towards them. Seeing her approach, these people became vigilant one by one. She roughly knew why, and without any nonsense, she said directly,
"You are free now. Can you do me a favor? Go and throw all the pirates who fainted on the deck into the sea."
Upon hearing this request, while the others looked around, the tall man standing at the front spoke up first.
"We can, but can you give us some food first? We haven't eaten anything all day."
Raiden Ei looked at the tall man and nodded, saying, "You can look for food on the ship; you should be able to find some. What is your name?"
The tall man's expression relaxed slightly, and he said, "Thank you. My name is Doya."
Raiden Ei glanced at the group—there were more than ten people in total. After thinking for a moment, she said, "Alright, Doya, is it! You are the leader of this group now. Manage them well and don't cause any trouble."
The tall man named Doya was clearly stunned for a moment, but he just glanced at Raiden Ei and agreed.
Raiden Ei had nothing else to do. She didn't want the treasures on the pirate ship, so she had to deal with Daglier's corpse and adjust the ship's course.
