Raiden Ei instantly passed through the Giant Crocodile's wide-open mouth, swinging the kusanagi she held in both hands fiercely toward his head, "Bang, bang!" Her full-power strike landed directly on the Giant Crocodile's head.
Hengkitari, transformed into a dozen-meter-long Giant Crocodile, was instantly felled by a single slash from the kusanagi. The ground rumbled loudly as he crashed down, scattering gravel and dirt, causing the island to shake violently at that moment.
Black and red lightning instantly surged, and the aura of Haki surged here like a tide, sweeping the aftermath and strong winds outward.
When Hengkitari was impacted by Raiden Ei's Conquerors Haki, he only felt as if he had been hit by a hammer; the intense shock only made him lose focus for an instant.
Now, after being struck by her slash, the entire crocodile was in terrible shape. His Armament Haki defense was instantly shattered, his body suffered terrifying damage, and bright red blood flowed from his mouth.
With just one blow, he sustained heavy injuries, his consciousness began to blur, and his body began to rapidly shrink uncontrollably. Before long, the entire dozen-meter-long Giant Crocodile reverted to the form of a tall man still wearing a white CP suit.
It was only then that Kizaru reacted. He had initially believed it was impossible for Raiden Ei to defeat the Giant Crocodile form of Hengkitari relying on Conquerors Haki, and before this, it seemed she couldn't even break his defense.
"How did it suddenly reverse like this now?"
Upon seeing Raiden Ei cut the Giant Crocodile down, reverting him to his original form as Hengkitari, he couldn't sit still any longer. His body elementalized and he rushed toward their battlefield at extreme speed.
Raiden Ei descended from the sky, holding the kusanagi in one hand, and walked directly toward where Hengkitari lay. She was also somewhat exhausted and needed to retreat quickly.
Hengkitari's body lay on the shattered earth as if it had fallen apart. He was conscious now and desperately tried to move, but could only manage to twitch a finger.
He slightly turned his head, suddenly opening his eyes wide in terror as he looked at Raiden Ei walking quickly toward him. His mouth moved slightly, emitting a trembling, hoarse voice.
"You can't... you can't kill me! I am a member of the World... Government! The World... Government won't let... you go."
"Hoo, hoo. I already said you were destined to die today. Besides, should I be afraid?"
Raiden Ei was only a few meters away from Hengkitari; she could reach him instantly if she wished. She walked to his side and unhesitatingly thrust the kusanagi she held in one hand toward his heart.
Suddenly, her Observation Haki sensed a laser beam shooting toward her, but the action of her hand did not pause. "Puchi!" The kusanagi instantly plunged into Hengkitari's heart, and he could only stare at her fixedly with unwillingness.
She used her mind for two tasks; her other hand wrapped in Armament Haki reached out directly to block that laser beam. "Damn!" The laser arrived instantly. "Zzzt!" The powerful penetration seemed intent on piercing her palm.
Raiden Ei felt the hand blocking the laser tremble slightly. She frowned, and with a "Weng," Conquerors Haki surged out from her body once more, accompanied by black and red lightning appearing in the surrounding air.
The power in her hand instantly increased, and she swung her arm, shattering the laser with a "Bang." By this time, the kusanagi had also pierced Hengkitari's heart; the dying man was almost dead.
Her consciousness instantly pulled the kusanagi along with Hengkitari into the system backpack. This was her spoils of war; she wouldn't let it go. After finishing this, she looked toward the late-arriving Kizaru.
"Oh! A step too late! My apologies, Hengkitari."
His voice arrived before his body did. "Damn!" A spot of light instantly appeared not far away, gradually solidifying into Kizaru's appearance. He looked at Raiden Ei and the black and red lightning still lingering around her.
"Raiden Ei, you truly exceeded my expectations. Conquerors Haki Infusion is a technique only top-tier experts can learn. I have only seen it on a few individuals, but they were all long-established masters. I never expected someone as young as you to have mastered it. Truly terrifying!"
"Hehe, that's thanks to the help of Admiral Sengoku. Do you want to test its power?"
"Admiral Sengoku? Of course. The order I received was to capture or kill you. Now, not only have I failed the mission, but I have also caused the death of a CP member.
I am accountable for this matter. No matter what, I must keep you here. This will serve as an explanation to Hengkitari."
"Then come on! Let's see what you can do to me."
The demon blade zanmian instantly appeared in Raiden Ei's hand, wrapped in Armament Haki, with Conquerors Haki Infusion also attached. Her purple eyes stared intently at Kizaru, not missing his every move. The sea breeze blew across her figure, causing her clothes and hair to flutter.
"Then I shall accompany you to the end. Although I have seen experts who can use Conquerors Haki Infusion, I have never fought against them. Now I finally have a chance."
"Ama no Murakumo!"
Kizaru condensed a thin, long light sword in his hand using his ability. His Armament Haki was wrapped around it, achieving an effect of being indestructible.
Although Raiden Ei felt her stamina was low, she still wanted to seize the initiative in the attack. She launched the first strike, stepping on the broken ground, and instantly shot toward Kizaru like an arrow loosed from a bow.
"So spirited!" Kizaru also charged toward Raiden Ei, though his speed was slightly faster.
"Swish, swish!"
The two figures met instantly, both swinging their blades toward the other.
"Clang!" Sparks flew.
The moment they clashed, Kizaru discerned Raiden Ei's true situation. With the boost from Conquerors Haki Infusion, it could only prevent her from being instantly defeated by him.
Based on his past experience, in her current state, she probably wouldn't last long before running out of stamina. He wasn't afraid of her running away, as her speed was far inferior to his.
"Clang, clang, clang, clang!"
The two continuously attacked each other, neither showing any intention of retreating first. The shockwaves from their clashes spread outward again.
Raiden Ei fought Kizaru, holding her breath. Her stamina was currently no match for his. She hadn't fully recovered the stamina consumed the previous night, and now she had fought Hengkitari for so long here.
Raiden Ei: I can't let this continue. If it does, Kizaru will exhaust all my stamina. While I can still withstand him, I should retreat quickly!
Thinking of this, she no longer hesitated. Seizing an opening when Kizaru swung his blade, she swung her demon blade with all her might toward him.
Kizaru hadn't expected Raiden Ei to change her move instantly. His Observation Haki sensed the attack coming, and with a "Clang," he hastily blocked the blade slashing toward him. He was directly forced to retreat by this strike.
