"Bang bang bang bang!"
She easily dodged the incoming bullets, but some pirates weren't so lucky; their bodies were ruthlessly pierced by the bullets, and they fell to the ground screaming.
Raiden Ei's footsteps didn't stop as she wove through the pirates, the blade in her hand ruthlessly reaping their lives; their guns simply couldn't keep up with her figure.
Observation Haki revealed many pirates running for the door; she swung her blade, sending out small slashes that killed them all within the hall.
The pirates were somewhat terrified by the slaughter; seeing no escape, they all knelt and pleaded for Raiden Ei to spare them.
Naturally, she wouldn't let them go; since they had done what they did, and she despised such people most, she raised her blade and killed these pirates just like the ones before.
Before long, a floor full of corpses remained, with only a few people gathered around Auraisu. His expression grew even gloomier, but he wasn't afraid of Raiden Ei and didn't care much for her strength.
Auraisu said expressionlessly, "Valoran, Chidori-jo, go kill this woman. I want her torn into ten thousand pieces."
Both walked toward Raiden Ei, one holding a Flintlock and the other a Musou Isshin. Their imposing auras made it clear they were no mere underlings.
She flicked her Musou Isshin, shaking the blood off onto the ground; her clothes were also stained with a bit of blood. She turned to look at the two pirates walking toward her, the corners of her mouth curling slightly.
She now felt like a pervert, being able to smile after killing so many people.
Valoran decided to probe the opponent's background first: "I am 'Flintlock' Valoran, with a bounty of eight million. Next to me is 'Shark-Slasher' Chidori-jo, with a bounty of twelve million. Woman, state your name."
Raiden Ei thought they really were pirates, though the amounts were a bit low. "I am Raiden Ei, a Bounty Hunter."
Chidori-jo: "Haha, we've really met an opponent! Raiden Ei, is it? What was that move you used just now that looked like a Flying Slash? Tell me, and I'll guarantee you won't die."
Raiden Ei glanced at the Musou Isshin at his waist: "It was a Flying Slash."
Chidori-jo looked disbelieving: "Impossible. Swordsmasters are one in ten thousand. If you were a swordsmaster, how could there be no information about you on this sea?"
Raiden Ei didn't care: "Believe it or not. Time waits for no one. If you won't attack, then I'll start."
Valoran held his Flintlock horizontally, already prepared to act: "Old Bird, don't dwell on that. Get ready."
Chidori-jo also drew his Musou Isshin: "I was too concerned. A swordsmaster is the realm a swordsman pursues for a lifetime."
The two acted in perfect sync, moving together. They kicked up two pits in the ground as they rushed toward Raiden Ei, their weapons ready.
Raiden Ei watched their attack. Just as she was about to clash with them head-on, her Observation Haki suddenly sensed that in the next moment, her Musou Isshin would be snapped by Chidori-jo's Musou Isshin.
She was a bit surprised; this person's blade was no ordinary item! With a thought, she wrapped Armament Haki around her Musou Isshin and continued to slash at the two. Clang!
In just an instant, Raiden Ei repelled both of them. Their physical fitness was clearly inferior to hers. She pressed forward, her rapid slashes forcing the two to endure their numbing arms as they hurriedly parried and retreated.
She suppressed the two with ease. Seeing this, Auraisu could finally bear it no longer; many insects flew out from his clothes toward Raiden Ei.
Observation Haki suddenly perceived this scene, leaving Raiden Ei momentarily stunned. However, her movements didn't pause for a second; she quickly retreated from her spot, leaving Valoran and Chidori-jo to look at the insects in horror, as if they had experienced something terrible before.
The insects didn't chase Raiden Ei. After relieving Valoran and Chidori-jo, they retreated to Auraisu's side, circling around him. The few pirates who were beside him just now were all collapsed on the ground, being gnawed on by the insects; they now looked like insect-men.
Auraisu looked at the distant Raiden Ei, his face no longer gloomy: "Hehe, see that? No matter how powerful you are, it's impossible to defeat insects."
"I am a Paramecia-type-type bug-bug fruit user. Any one of these insects can take an ordinary person's life. How can you fight me? Submit to me! I'll spare your life."
Raiden Ei looked at the only three remaining pirates and those insects; it was indeed a bit troublesome. She wondered if Conqueror's Haki would work on these insects; if not, she'd have to clear the field with large-scale slashes. She didn't answer Auraisu's words, instead concentrating her spirit and unleashing Conqueror's Haki toward him.
Auraisu watched Raiden Ei without urgency when suddenly an aura pressed down on him. He felt as if his head had been heavily struck by a hammer.
His sense of reality became distorted, and the insects in his body fainted. He hurriedly looked at the insects around him; those that were just gnawing on the corpses were now falling to the ground one after another.
He looked around in panic. Valoran and Chidori-jo were now leaning against the wall as if they had suffered a heavy blow. Meanwhile, Raiden Ei was walking toward him with her Musou Isshin, the cold light reflecting from the blade mirroring the fear in his heart.
Auraisu tried desperately to wake the insects, but he couldn't: "You... don't come over here! This must be your trick! Valoran, Chidori-jo, come protect me quickly, or the insects will eat your hearts!"
Valoran and Chidori-jo's faces turned pale. Dragging their dizzy heads, they blocked Raiden Ei's path.
The cold light reflected from Raiden Ei's Musou Isshin grew stronger. She was determined to finish them before the insects woke up. She quickened her pace, her figure approaching the two as swiftly as a shadow.
Neither Valoran nor Chidori-jo dared to be careless. Valoran moved past Chidori-jo, aimed his Flintlock at Raiden Ei, and pulled the trigger. With a "Bang," the bullet flew forward rapidly.
Seeing the bullet flying toward her, Raiden Ei unhurriedly batted it away with her Musou Isshin. So what if it was more powerful than a normal gun? In a few breaths, she had already reached them, her Musou Isshin aiming straight for their lives.
Naturally, the two wouldn't fail to resist. Chidori-jo stepped forward, using all his strength to slash at Raiden Ei's blade. Since he wasn't as fast as her, he could only react to her attacks. Their Musou Isshins collided. Clang!
This time, Raiden Ei's Musou Isshin directly snapped Chidori-jo's Musou Isshin. The blade descended, cutting off one of his arms. Valoran, with a fierce expression, fired his reloaded Flintlock at her from close range. Bang!
Raiden Ei's Observation Haki perceived the bullet's trajectory. She used her Musou Isshin to deflect the bullet and stepped forward, slitting the throat of the yet-to-act Valoran with a single strike.
Chidori-jo clutched his severed arm, blood flowing from his mouth, his face twisted in pain. Valoran still held his Flintlock as he fell to the ground unwillingly.
