Kay was making…no progress.
Nearly two years of study groups, shared classes, and constantly 'running into' each other and the only thing Kay had going for him was the fact that Lee blushed when they made eye contact.
A fact that might be comforting if Lee didn't also blush each time the TA from 'Native and Non-native Plants' talked to him.
As far as Lee was concerned, Kay was just another pretty face. A pretty face in a sea of pretty faces that, much like Kay, wanted Lee.
In college, Lee drew even more eyes than he had in their hometown. Every other day a woman was approaching Xavier or Kay asking for Lee's number. Kay's only solace was the fact that Lee was still a major introvert. That and the fact that Kay himself kept seducing Lee's would-be suitors.
