Jay POV:
Months have passed, and now it's finally the last month.
I was feeling so nervous, excited, and a little scared too.
That morning, when I woke up, I started feeling something strange.
At first, I ignored it.
I got up, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs.
And there he was, sitting on the couch while Kaira was sitting on his lap, happily yapping about something. Keifer was listening to her patiently, nodding along to everything she said.
Ever since Kaira was born, Keifer had always treated her like his own daughter. He was always protective of her and never got tired of listening to her endless talks.
I smiled and walked toward them.
"Ateee!" Kerein came running toward me.
"Baby!" I said, opening my arms.
He immediately hugged me.
"Good morning, baby," Keifer said, getting up and lightly hugging me.
"Breakfast is ready! Come and eat!" Mom shouted from the dining table.
I was about to take a step when suddenly, a sharp pain hit my stomach.
"Ahhhh!" I screamed.
"Jayy!" Keifer immediately rushed toward me.
Mom and Dad also came running when they heard me scream.
"Oh my God, Jay! Keazir, call the ambulance!" Mom shouted while holding my hands.
Dad immediately took out his phone and called the ambulance.
I looked at Keifer.
He looked completely panicked, but he was trying his best to stay calm for me.
"Is the baby coming?" Kaira asked.
Mom smiled and nodded.
Kaira's eyes widened with excitement.
"But my Ate is crying…" Kerein said, his eyes filling with tears.
"Hey, baby, don't cry," I said softly, trying to smile at him.
Soon, the ambulance arrived, and the paramedics helped me inside.
Keifer stayed beside me the entire time.
Author's POV:
Soon, they reached the hospital.
Jay was immediately taken to the labour room.
Keifer insisted on staying with her and refused to leave her side.
Inside the room, Jay held Keifer's hand tightly.
"Ahhhh, Keiferrrr!" Jay screamed.
"Jayy, baby, you can do this! You're doing so well. Just one more time!" Keifer encouraged her, squeezing her hand.
Jay took a deep breath and tried her best.
And then—
A tiny cry filled the room.
The sound of a newborn baby crying made everyone smile.
"It's a baby boy," the nurse announced while carefully cleaning the baby.
"Keif… our baby…" Jay whispered, tears filling her eyes.
Keifer smiled through his own teary eyes and nodded.
"Our baby," he whispered.
A moment later, the doctor carefully handed the baby to them.
Jay held him with her shaky hands.
"Oh my God, Keif… he's so cute," she whispered, immediately bringing him closer to her chest.
"Yeah… he is," Keifer said softly.
He gently touched the baby's tiny fingers.
Suddenly, the baby wrapped his tiny hand around Keifer's finger.
Keifer gasped.
He looked at Jay with the biggest smile.
"See?" he whispered.
Jay laughed softly through her tears.
Keifer carefully took the baby into his arms.
He stared at his little son for a moment, completely speechless.
"Hi, little one…" he whispered. "Daddy's here."
Outside the room
Everyone was waiting anxiously.
Jay's family.
Keifer's family.
Everyone was excited to meet the newest member of their family.
"When will the baby come?" Kaira asked impatiently, looking at Aries.
"Just a little patience," Aries said with a laugh.
Suddenly, the doctor opened the door.
"Congratulations! It's a boy."
Everyone's faces immediately lit up.
"How's Jay?" her mom asked.
"She is completely fine. You can meet them now."
Everyone immediately rushed inside.
But they all stopped when they saw the tiny baby peacefully sleeping in Keifer's arms.
"Oh my God…" Kegain gasped.
Kaira and Kerein immediately ran toward Keifer.
Keifer chuckled and bent down slightly so they could see the baby properly.
Both Kerein and Kaira gasped.
"He's so small," Kaira whispered.
"And so cute!" Kerein added.
"Ate, are you okay?" Kerein asked before climbing carefully onto Jay's bed.
"Yes, baby," Jay said with a tired smile before hugging him.
"I wanna hold him!" Kaira said excitedly.
Keifer chuckled.
"Okay, okay. Come here."
He carefully made Kaira sit on his lap and then gently placed the baby in her arms.
Kaira's eyes widened.
She carefully looked at the tiny baby before smiling brightly.
She leaned forward and kissed his little cheek.
"Hi… I'm your aunty," she whispered.
The baby moved his tiny hand.
Kaira giggled.
"He moved!"
Everyone laughed softly.
Keifer then carefully took the baby back and helped Kerein hold him.
"Wowww…" Kerein whispered, staring at his little brother.
He gently touched the baby's cheek.
"His cheeks are so soft."
"Now my turn!" Kegain said impatiently.
Everyone laughed.
"Okay, okay. Your turn too," Keifer said.
He carefully placed the baby in Kegain's arms.
Kegain immediately became quiet.
He stared at the baby with the softest smile.
"He's really cute…"
Jay smiled while watching them.
One by one, everyone got a chance to hold the baby.
Jay's mom hugged her tightly.
"Are you okay, dear?"
Jay smiled and nodded.
"I'm perfect."
Keifer sat beside her with the baby in his arms.
He looked at Jay.
Jay looked back at him.
For a few seconds, neither of them said anything.
They simply smiled.
After everything they had been through, this little moment felt perfect.
Keifer gently placed the baby beside Jay.
Jay looked down at their son and softly touched his tiny cheek.
"Our family is complete," she whispered.
Keifer smiled.
"No…"
Jay looked at him.
Keifer leaned closer and kissed her forehead.
"Our family just got a little bigger."
Jay laughed softly.
Everyone gathered around them, smiling and admiring the little baby.
Kaira kept telling everyone that she was going to be the best aunty.
Kerein refused to leave Jay's side.
Kegain kept asking when the baby would start talking.
Aries was already joking about how spoiled the baby was going to become.
And Keifer?
He couldn't stop looking at his son.
He gently held the baby's tiny hand and smiled.
"Welcome to our crazy family, little one."
Jay rested her head against Keifer's shoulder.
She looked around the room at everyone she loved.
Her family.
Keifer.
Their children.
And their beautiful little baby boy.
She smiled through happy tears.
For once, she didn't feel nervous.
She didn't feel scared.
She just felt happy.
Because this was the life she had always wanted.
A home full of love.
A family full of laughter.
And the people she loved most, all together.
And as everyone gathered around their newest little member, Jay knew one thing for sure—
This was only the beginning of their happiest chapter. ❤️
