I smelt it too. Enough to render my throat dry and my heart thumping violently in my chest. Glancing at Thor, I realized I wasn't the only one affected. Watching Rex dart forward and pull her inside made something inside me snap, the urge to dash forward and break into the building overwhelming, to drag her out and away from him before I did something far worse.
"What is that smell?" I groaned under my breath at Thor as we moved closer to the door and stood right in front of it.
We glanced back to see men who were no longer worried about the attack. Instead, there was lust in their eyes as they stared at the door, completely overtaken by whatever was filling the air.
