Chapter 116 - Super-God

In the forest surrounding Castlevania, several shadows flickered past, arriving above the ancient castle in an instant.

The moon above Castlevania, which had previously radiated a silver glow, had now turned blood-red. A mass of crimson flesh was attached to its surface, pulsating with an ominous aura.

"You guys head in first and check the situation inside the moon. I'm going to do some scavenging nearby!"

After the group split up, Bai Xiaofei, the Corpse King, and the others entered the lunar interior. Ren activated his Time Acceleration, his figure blurring as he swept through the castle.

A massive battle had just concluded here; the lower-level combatants had been largely wiped out, leaving top-tier loot scattered everywhere! Ren gave most of it only a passing glance, having lost interest in common treasures. He was here specifically for Satan's new body and the True Artifact: the Invisibility Cloak.

With this cloak, even an ordinary person could evade the detection of a Super-God level powerhouse. After a brief search, Ren found the artifact lying on the ground outside the city. Seeing such a powerful item discarded like trash, Ren could only sigh, "I truly don't understand the world of the big bosses."

Knowing the value of the prize, he carefully draped the cloak over his shoulders, and his figure vanished completely. Inside the cloak, Ren's vision remained unaffected, allowing him to see everything clearly.

Next, let's find Satan's new body, Ren thought.

Of course, it wouldn't actually matter if he left it alone. Since Ran Aiguo had entered the prison, it meant the human powerhouses outside had already surrounded the area. Satan's current body would likely be vaporized by hyper-nukes the moment he stepped out. And even if his vitality allowed him to survive that, Ren and the others were there to finish the job. Could a group of peak God-levels not kill one crippled, low-health "God"?

Ren located the young demon sitting cross-legged. Using his long spear, he delivered a sudden, brutal thrust to the demon's rear!

"AUUUGH—!!"

Following a soul-stirring shriek, Satan spun around, but he saw absolutely nothing.

"Good! Very good! You're the first one who's ever dared to do that to me! Just wait until I catch you!" Satan snarled, gnashing his teeth in fury. His new body was fresh and undeveloped—a sudden "intrusion" like that would cause tearing!

On the other side, after giving Satan a "parting gift," Ren entered the lunar interior.

Ran Aiguo was shrouded in golden light, the Corpse King was gnawing on a skeletal frame, and Bai Xiaofei stood in place, seemingly lost in thought. Gabriel was kneeling on the ground, weeping piteously.

Seeing Ren arrive, they all turned to him. Xiaofei asked, "Ren, are we leaving now?"

With the Holy Lord's definitive death, a golden gate had opened in the sky. The creatures within the Hell Prison were now free to leave this cage at any time.

Before Ren could answer, a shadow streaked toward the gate and vanished! The group's keen eyesight identified the figure as a demon. Though they didn't know his identity, his speed proved he was at least at the God-level.

"That was Satan's other body," Ren explained.

Gabriel, who had been immersed in her grief for the Holy Lord, instantly leaped up. She appeared at Ren's side, teeth clenched. "You're saying that bastard Satan is still alive?"

"Yes," Ren nodded. "The one who just escaped was Satan."

The next moment, Gabriel transformed into a streak of golden light and charged through the gate. Ren scratched his head and looked at the remaining group. "If you want to go out, go ahead. I'm going back to get Senior Wuyou and the others."

Mu Tiancai, Wuyou, and Master Denghai were still on the second floor. Ren planned to pick them up so they could leave together. By then, the initial chaos and ambushes outside would likely have subsided, saving them some trouble.

As Ren prepared to move, another figure rushed into the light gate—a blackened, seemingly crazed entity. "That was the Fallen Angel, right? He looks a bit... mentally unstable," Xiaofei remarked.

Ren shook his head, ignoring the departure. Just as he turned to find Tiancai, he saw the genius approaching with Senior Wuyou and Master Denghai. Tiancai pointed at the golden gate. "Brother Ren! Can we go now?"

With everyone gathered, Ren had no reason to delay. "Let's move!"

After packing their belongings and ensuring all the collected materials were secure, Ren hoisted the near-death vampire, Dracula, onto his shoulder. He funneled a tiny bit of life force into the count to keep him hanging on, and the group exited the Hell Prison together.

As they passed through the gate, the sounds of massive explosions thundered from the sky! Golden and black lights clashed in mid-air; every shockwave made the earth tremble.

Seeing this, the Corpse King was the first to speak: "I have business. Leaving first!" The ground beneath his feet suddenly turned into a mass of flesh, which swallowed him whole, causing him to vanish from Ren's perception.

Senior Wuyou laughed. "That fellow is scared."

"After all, it's a battle between two Super-God levels. It's not something we 'Gods' should meddle in."

Ren stretched luxuriously and turned to Mu Tiancai. "Let's go. Time to go home, break through to Super-God, grab that spaceship from the Americans, and head into space."

"Consider it handled!"

They had flown here by plane, and they intended to return the same way. Of course, they could have flown back using their own power—perhaps even breaking through to Super-God mid-flight—but why fly yourself when you can sit on a private jet?

Carrying Senior Wuyou, the party of four boarded a private plane heading back to Yanhuang. Wuyou was fascinated by the aircraft; upon boarding, he tried to open a window for "fresh air," only to be distracted by a jar of wine Ren handed him. Soon, the senior was drunk and snoring on a sofa.

The others used the flight time to process their gains from the Hell Prison. Ren felt he could take the next step to the Super-God level at any moment. Mu Tiancai was even faster; his body trembled slightly, and he crossed the threshold, becoming one of the few Super-Gods on Earth.

Unlike Ren, who focused on combat prowess, Tiancai's evolution was geared toward brain capacity and wisdom. Thus, while he was a Super-God, his raw combat power wasn't staggering—at least, he was no match for the two titans currently fighting in the sky.

By the time the plane touched down, the four "Super-God passengers" disembarked and entered an unmarked sedan. The car brought them to a small three-story building.

Ren addressed Wuyou: "Senior, this is one of my secret bases. You've just come out of prison and don't understand this era yet. Stay here for now."

Wuyou nodded with a smile. "Alright. Oh, and give me one of those 'mobile phones'... No! Give me two! One for photos, one for livestreaming. Next time I see that bald Denghai, I'll make sure I have more fans than him!"

Ren didn't refuse; two phones were delivered that afternoon. Senior Wuyou was a quick study; Ren only showed him the basics, and by evening, Wuyou had started a livestream.

That night, all of Yanhuang knew that a "one-thousand-year-old senior" was livestreaming on Douyin. Countless scholars and curious onlookers flooded his room, and his followers grew at a terrifying speed. In a single night, Senior Wuyou's fan count reached eighty million!

Inside the small villa, looking at his exploding follower count, Senior Wuyou grinned like a thousand-year-old child.
