Melissa stood, confused by his words. Since the fight was broadcasted around the school, Melissa knew that he lost.
"But, young master,you lost..."
"Yeah...so pack up"
I finally understood something while fighting lemon,if I fail,I won't join the subjugation team that the school is leading, meaning, I can get there on my own, before them
"Hurry up Melissa, we're leaving now to France"
"But,we haven't booked a flight"
"Don't worry..."
Ed grinned after carrying the last of what he needs
"... Sally would help her brother, right"

Ed stared at Sally who just finished from her training and was heading to her dorms. Ed had asked about the emergency flight to France but was declined
"I mean, normally I would, you're my brother so I should, but before you exit the school, you need to file a request two days prior"
No!...then I'll be leaving the same time with them
"Isn't there another way?... like to get a response immediately?"
"If you can convince the student council president then you can get it now..."
"Thanks"
Ed runs off,to where the girls dorms are located. After knocking for a while,a girl comes out to answer and saw him. After noticing him,she runs off, without answering his request
Seconds later, girl gathered around the dorms to see the boy in front of it. Because of that, the student council president came out to check the situation
"What brings you here, Ed?"
"I need your help student council president"
She signals the girls to go back into their dorms, giving them some private time
"I need you to file an emergency leave for me at the school..."
"Okay... for what purpose?"
"Can I not tell you?—figured"
She reaches for her pocket and brings out a badge with the school's logo on it
"With this badge,you can leave the school anytime, so if you'll tell me—"
She hands it to him
"Please can I owe you?... I promise you we'll go on a date when I get back, fingers crossed"
Ed rushed back to his dorms leaving her in front of her dorms. As he left, she pouted
"I never asked for a date idiot... hmph"
Ed rushed to his room and carried his things. Shortly after,he walks out, to meet with Sally who was waiting for him at the school's main entrance
"Did you get it?"
"Yeah... don't you know who I am?"
"Yeah yeah... I've booked the flight, it's thirty minutes from now"
"Who does that?"
Ed turns and runs, straight to the airport. Using determination,he increased his speed to reach there just in time before the plane left. Since he is riding a public plane,he had to provide the tickets and other stuffs before entering
After boarding the plane,he sat on the window seat, observing the sky from it
***On the day of the first test***
In the third year class were hobin had visited to see kim,a boy stood in his front obstructing his view from the class. Although kim had looked him in the eye, there was no visible change from Kim's normal reaction
As soon as Kim rose to his feet, the entire class excluding the people following him bows while he approaches hobin. As he stood face to face with hobin,he didn't change his stance, looking kim in the eye as he dropped his request
"I've a request for you, Kim dragonboy..."
"...oh?"
"I need you to—"
Another boy from the squad of bullies reacts, trying to apprehend hobin. With movements no one's eyes could keep up to, Kim moved, bringing the boy down with a single attack that destroyed half their class .
A teacher arrived shortly after to evacuate the students from the damaged class
"You guys..."
He turns to Kim standing beside hobin
"Not you again..."
Kim laughed,an emotion he hadn't shown since hobin entered the class. Standing by the entrance of the hallway,hobin continued his speech
"I'm here to buy information"
"Scratch that... I can't sell information to the likes of you"
"I need information on the link..."
"Huh?... what?!"
Kim stood for a second, silently. His expression didn't change but he turned back to his seat. After reaching for his phone,he gives it to hobin without saying a word
Hobin collects it and and puts his number before handing the phone back to Kim. Collecting it,he signals hobin to leave
"Kim..."
Kim exhales before pushing his hair back. Seconds later,he turns to his friends
"That boy... I like him"

Ed spent the rest of his time on the plane, patiently waiting for their stop. While on the plane,a flight attendant approached him with some documents
"Here you go sir,you forgot these..."
"Oh, okay thanks—wait what?!"
Why did you come Melissa?
She winks at him before walking back. After glancing through the documents,he puts them aside to rest. While waiting,a system notification popped up.
Needs the blood of a girl and Ed's awakening essence>
What?...is this a ritual, and what's my awakening essence
"... sorry, sir,are you... Ed?"
Ed turns, noticing the girl for the first time who was sitting beside him. He didn't know her but she seemed to know him. Adjusting himself, he turns to her
"I'm...who are you please"
"It's me, the girl sitting next to you at the entrance ceremony"
"Huh..."
"My name's Kyle amstrong, the first princess of France"
France huh...
