Chapter 43 - chapter 43

Screen 1

As the crew sailed toward Fish-Man Island, Camie suddenly became distressed.

She explained that her friend Hatchan had been kidnapped.

Without hesitation, the Straw Hats decided to help.

They soon learned the culprit was Duval, a man who held a strange grudge against Sanji.

The reason was ridiculous but serious to him.

Sanji's original bounty poster had a poorly drawn face that looked exactly like Duval, causing him constant trouble with the authorities.

Sonic listened to the explanation, then looked at Sanji.

"…So this whole problem started because of your wanted poster?"

He paused, then added,

"Yeah… that's actually insane."

Screen 2

As the crew moved to rescue Hatchan, Sonic rushed ahead and took on Duval's pirate crew.

Moving at high speed, he cleared them out quickly, knocking them aside before they could even react.

"Too slow," Sonic said calmly as the last of them fell back.

Meanwhile, Sanji faced Duval directly.

After the fight, Sanji's kicks ended up fixing Duval's face, making him unexpectedly "handsome."

The entire situation flipped instantly, and Duval's anger disappeared, turning into admiration instead.

Sonic watched this happen in silence for a moment.

"…So you beat him… and somehow made him look better?"

He shook his head slightly.

"Yeah, I'm not even questioning it anymore."

Screen 3

After being rescued, Hatchan explained what the crew needed to do next.

To reach Fish-Man Island, the Thousand Sunny had to be coated in a special resin so it could travel 10,000 meters underwater.

As they approached the Sabaody Archipelago, Hatchan gave a serious warning.

They must avoid the Celestial Dragons at all costs.

Hearing that, Sonic's expression shifted slightly.

"…I've heard a little about them."

He folded his arms, thinking.

"Rich nobles… backed by the World Government… right?"

He looked toward the island ahead, more cautious now.

"If even you're warning us like that, then they're not normal trouble."

Even with only partial knowledge, Sonic understood one thing clearly:

those people were dangerous in a different way.

Screen 4

As the crew moved through Sabaody Archipelago, the atmosphere suddenly shifted from lively to tense.

From a distance, Sonic noticed a crowd forming around a group of figures dressed in strange, extravagant clothing.

At the center stood a Celestial Dragons.

Sonic stayed slightly back, watching carefully.

He saw chained people being forced to crawl on the ground, treated like property instead of humans. Guards stood around them, enforcing obedience without hesitation.

Then, without warning, one of the nobles casually raised a weapon and fired at a person who had hesitated.

The crowd froze.

No one stepped in. No one protested.

Sonic's expression hardened instantly.

"…They just did that like it was nothing."

His hands slowly clenched as he kept watching from a distance.

"So this is what they meant…"

For the first time, Sonic understood clearly.

These weren't just powerful nobles.

They were people who believed they were above everyone else—and could do anything without consequence.

Screen 5

The crew regrouped and headed into Shakky's Rip-off Bar, a quiet place run by Shakuyaku.

Inside, the tension from earlier eased a little as everyone settled down.

Sonic looked around the bar, then his eyes landed on Shakky.

He paused for a second, slightly surprised.

"…She doesn't look like a normal bar owner."

There was something calm but sharp about her presence.

Sonic leaned back and added quietly,

"She feels dangerous… but in a controlled way."

Even without knowing her full background, Sonic could tell Shakky was not someone to underestimate.

Screen 6

Inside Shakky's Rip-off Bar, Shakuyaku casually dropped a big piece of information.

There were 11 powerful pirates gathered on the island, all with bounties over 100 million.

They were known as the "Worst Generation" or Supernovas.

She began listing them, including Monkey D. Luffy…

Then she glanced toward Sonic.

"And you too."

Sonic blinked.

"…Wait, I'm included in that?"

Shakky nodded slightly.

"With a bounty over 100 million, you qualify."

Sonic leaned back, thinking for a moment.

"So that means… I'm grouped with the strongest rookies out here."

He gave a small smirk.

"…Not bad."

Screen 7

As the crew continued moving through Sabaody Archipelago, Sonic suddenly noticed something.

Roronoa Zoro was gone again.

Sonic stopped and looked around.

"…Don't tell me he got lost again."

He rubbed his forehead slightly, clearly annoyed but also concerned.

"With this place full of Marines and Celestial Dragons… this is the worst time for that."

Sonic looked ahead seriously.

"I'm going to find him."

Even though Zoro is strong, Sonic knew Sabaody was too dangerous to just wander alone.

Screen 8

In the streets of Sabaody Archipelago, Roronoa Zoro stepped in when a Celestial Dragons was attacking a helpless bystander.

Zoro moved without hesitation, ready to strike.

From a distance, Sonic saw it happen.

His eyes widened slightly.

"…Zoro, wait—"

He immediately understood the danger.

Attacking a Celestial Dragon would bring an Admiral down on them instantly.

Just before Zoro could land the blow, Jewelry Bonney stepped in and stopped the situation, preventing everything from escalating.

Sonic let out a slow breath.

"…That was way too close."

He walked over and looked at Zoro seriously.

"I get why you did it."

Then he added quietly,

"But here… one move like that can start a war."

Screen 9

Chaos broke out on Sabaody Archipelago when Camie was suddenly kidnapped.

The moment the crew realized what happened, the mood shifted instantly.

Sonic's expression hardened.

A faint dark aura began to flicker around him again as he entered a semi-Dark state.

"…They took her."

His voice dropped, colder than before.

The Straw Hats quickly decided to call on Flying Fish Riders to help track and rescue Camie.

Sonic stepped forward, energy crackling lightly around him.

"This time, we don't hold back."

Even in control, it was clear this situation was pushing him closer to the edge again.
