Chapter 17 - Justice at the Summit of Destiny

Nahid opened the doors of the throne room with heavy steps. His flaming sword was in his hand, his eyes locked onto Nihad. Sitting on his throne, Nihad looked at his brother calmly, yet he could feel the tension radiating from Nahid's presence. Both remained silent until Nihad spoke:

"I see it in your eyes, Nahid," Nihad said. "You bring death to me and to yourself. Why are you here?"

Just as Nahid was about to answer, dark energy rippled in the center of the room. A portal as dark as the night sky opened, and Nicat emerged from within with a mocking smile. He bore an aura flowing with black magic; every movement was menacing and self-assured.

"How lovely that you are all here," Nicat said, standing in the middle of the room. "Finally, you stand against one another. But there's no need to be so serious; I've come to reveal a great secret to you."

Nahid narrowed his eyes, gripping his sword tighter.

"What nonsense are you talking about, Nicat? What was the point of bringing us together?"

Nicat continued to speak with a tone that echoed through the throne room, followed by a mocking laugh.

"Do you want to know the real plan of Arden and Kagehana? The only reason they attacked you was to bring you together. Because the way to defeat you both at once was in my hands. They were merely pawns, but unfortunately, they are not in the throne room now. But don't worry… this will be more fun."

Nihad looked at his brother with suspicion.

"So, Arden and Kagehana were serving you? They were working with you?"

Nicat shrugged and replied mockingly:

"Arden could never have killed you with his own power. That's why he accepted my plan. Ultimately, I wanted to gather you both here, because you are weak separately but more dangerous together. And that harms my ideal."

Nahid raised his sword in anger.

"Then wouldn't it have been easier to kill us one by one? Why did you gather us together?"

A sinister smile appeared on Nicat's face.

"You weaken my ideals. You limit me. That is why it is time to end this story here."

At that moment, Nicat raised his hands and began to summon black magic. Dark energy filled the room and exploded like a storm in the sky. Every corner of the room was covered in undulating shadows. Before Nahid and Nihad could even look at each other, they found themselves in a different place.

They were standing on the summit of a mountain where the wind howled through the darkness: the Peak of Destiny. Nicat appeared between them, floating in the air. The peak was surrounded by magical storms and deep abysses. Nicat intensified his aura and looked at them.

"We will fight our final battle here," Nicat said, drawing his sword. "Let's see if your ideals are stronger, or my darkness."

Nahid raised his sword and fixed his eyes on Nicat. Flames engulfed his blade, looking like the only light within the darkness.

"This will be your end, Nicat," he said.

Nihad sighed, looking at his brother. He summoned water energy with his hands, and a surging flood of energy appeared around him.

"This war will determine our fate. But no matter the outcome, justice will remain in my hands."

Nicat laughed and spread his dark energy around him.

"Then let us begin!"

And the war began at the Peak of Destiny. The clashing of swords, the flames, the water, and the explosions of dark energy shook the summit. This was not just a battle; it was a struggle that would determine their destinies.

Nahid's flame swords glowed in his hands like angry lava. His eyes were fixed on Nicat, filled with rage and ambition. His voice rose, determined yet trembling.

"I have lost to you twice," Nahid said. "Once I lost my arm, and once my pride. But this time, I will be the one to win this war. Because you are a threat not just to me, but to the entire world, Nicat. It ends here today."

Nahid raised his flaming hand, and at that moment, two dazzling flame swords formed. Each one shone with divine power. The fire scorched the surroundings, feeling as if it would melt the ground.

Nicat let out a mocking laugh. He concentrated dark energy with his hands, and two swords formed from black magic appeared in his grip. His eyes were filled with a light that challenged Nahid.

"How dramatic you are, Nahid," he said. "But in this world, the strong win and the weak perish. These are my ideals. You brothers have shown me your weakness time and again. Now, I will destroy you eternally!"

Nihad raised his hand and summoned the power of the water god. Water began to swirl around him like a vortex, eventually forming a massive spear glowing with blue light. He fixed his eyes on Nicat, his face wearing a stern but pained expression.

"I will not let you drown justice in darkness, Nicat. This war will determine our fate, but I will win with justice."

Nicat released his dark energy like a screaming storm and rushed toward Nahid. The swords clashed, and suddenly there was a massive explosion of energy. While Nahid parried Nicat's blows with his flame sword, Nihad tried to strike Nicat from the side by throwing his spear.

Nicat retreated quickly and used the dark energy as a shield. Nihad's spear shattered before it could hit Nicat, but the wave created by the water threw Nicat back a few steps.

"Is this all, brothers?" Nicat shouted. Raising his swords in a cross, he concentrated the dark energy and attacked them both with a massive blow.

Nahid stumbled back as he cut through the dark energy with his flame swords. Still, he continued to advance toward Nicat.

"It's not over yet, Nicat!" Nahid screamed. Then he summoned a flame spell; this spell struck the ground, creating a massive wave of fire that pushed Nicat back for a while.

The summit had turned into a disaster zone with the collision of the three powers. Flames scorched the peak, water washed over everything, and darkness covered the sky. Each attack was more lethal than the last.

Nahid made another attack, intensifying his flame power. He swung both swords at Nicat simultaneously. Nicat defended with his two blades, but the power of the flames weakened him for a moment. Nihad took advantage of this opportunity with his water spear—

Nicat dodged quickly and suddenly repelled the two brothers with his dark energy. His eyes were glowing, and he was breathless. "Do you still think you can stand against me? Only one of us will survive on this peak!"

Nahid had a bleeding wound, but the determination in his eyes never faded. "I will continue to fight for justice," Nahid said. "Even my flames remind me of this."

Nicat rushed toward Nahid. He swung one sword from above and the other from below. While Nahid was defending, Nihad attacked again. The two brothers had begun to corner Nicat. However, Nicat suddenly accelerated and landed a heavy blow on Nahid's right side. Nahid fell to the ground, a deep wound opening on his left side.

Nahid was on his knees, barely breathing. Nicat slowly approached him. There was a ruthless expression in his eyes. He raised the two black swords and was about to bring them down toward Nahid's neck.

At that exact moment, Nahid closed his eyes and summoned his flame power one last time.

"This isn't over yet!" Nahid cried out. The flames rose with an explosion-like energy. Nicat was momentarily blinded and retreated, squinting his eyes. Meanwhile, Nahid stood up, continuing to fight with his remaining strength.

The conflict between Nicat and Nahid was becoming increasingly dramatic. However, with one final attack, Nahid managed to corner Nicat. This battle would determine the future of the summit.
