Morgana scanned the hall anxiously to see how audible i sounded. As only few displeased reactions echoed from the crowd.
A flicker of irritation crossed her features, quickly masked.
"Let's talk," she whispered, voice steady and calm. She wrapped her arms around mine. I shuddered at her.
I glanced at Ava to keep an eye out, as I walked besides Morgana.
"Alex… I'm guessing you're already aware, but this tower, each and every corner belongs to me."
"And you may be wondering how i acquired this, but it's definitely not from the little ransom I got for Aubrey…"
"You see.. what you don't know is that, whatever you think you've done or harnessed, I did that a long time ago, while you were still in lala~land dreaming about your perfect life…"
