Rena's PoV
He looked so serious and furious at the same time. His reaction managed to reduce the embarrassment I was feeling before, and my shoulders felt lighter with everything out in the open.
"Now that I know everything, just finding Daisy won't be enough." His tone left no room for argument.
"I refuse to have a scum like that in my region," he added right after.
The door opened before I could get a word in, and Jamie walked in.
He seemed startled as he saw me in there and then gave a polite nod. I was starting to notice that he wasn't the best at socializing.
I returned with a nod and watched as he placed a box on the table between us.
"Martha asked me to hand this over to Luna Rena."
I coughed, almost choking at the way he addressed me.
Rhys leaned forward and pried the cover open.
There was a large book, a stamp set, and what looked like bank cards inside the box.
